So here's one for you----when my credit card was breached, the perp made purchases from Sephora. I initiated a dispute through my bank and they returned my money. Fast forward a few weeks and I attempt a purchase from Sephora, but they canceled the order and said they couldn't verify my CC. As it turns out, there was no problem with my card. They just wanted to tell me the next time I had an issue involving Sephora, I should come to them first, and not my bank. I never raised my voice but I said, "If someone has gained access to my CC and starts spending at several stores, there's not a damned thing Sephora can do for me!!! Can you imagine?? They then authorized my purchases because like I said, there was no issue with my CC. They were pissed because I went to my bank about the unauthorized expenditures. They wouldn't give me the particulars of their findings, but I think they know who the culprit was.

Oh, wow. That's wild. I had an issue the other day where I tried to order from keds and they double charged me even though both times I tried to order, I got an error message and no e-mail confirmation. They told me it was an issue w/ my bank. I called my bank and they were like NOPE and since they're playing around, here's your money back right now. Thank goodness for that customer service. This is just some crazy stuff. It almost makes you afraid to use your CCs. I knew immediately that I hadn't ordered
the items that showed up on my back statement, but to take it a step further, I got the E-mail from Sephora asking
me to review what someone else had purchased on my dime!!!

A very Merry Christmas back to you and your family.

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.  My marsala lipstick is extremely pigmented!  This has never happened to me before....being the one off with a product.  I do have weird coloring though (Greek & Native American), so I'm not surprised the color works for me and others aren't happy.  It's usually the reverse where lipsticks are concerned.  People buying nearly every Audacious lipstick and I could wear one. :amused: The smell however is very old school drugstore lipstick-y.

I'm very glad that the Marsala lipstick worked out for you. I'm going to keep it but I'm a little disappointed. It's not as pigmented as I would have hoped. Happy Holidays.
