Yeah, Diorshow was the first high end mascara I tried because it was a sephora best seller. I found it clumpy. Gave me spider lashes. Same with YSL, but not quite as bad. I really like that mufe mascara because it separates and it's never clumpy.

I can sympathize as I've dealt with the same all my life. My older sister was always the golden child. It sucks you have to deal with that.

Yazmin, I'm glad Sephora worked to correct this fiasco. It worked out well that you were able to unload the 50 Shades set.

Ugh I am still on the hunt for the perfect liquid eyeliner... right now my fave is UD Perversion pen but it dries out rather quickly IMO. I bought MUFE's and im not impressed, I get lines when I draw with it? It doesnt apply evenly

picked up KVD's tattoo liner today and man it hasnt budged off my hand where I tested it. High hopes for this one-- wish it was waterproof though!

Really? I got one in the 50 shades set and it's the best I've used. Applies evenly and perfectly. Have you tried giving it a shake first?

Actually no LOL.. im still gonna try it out, im going to the caribbean tomorrow and i need a waterproof so im taking it with me and hoping i can work out the kinks. hopefully that does it! for me, you can see lines left by wherever i'm applying pressure (im not pressing that hard) which is an issue i havent had with other liquids

I liked the KVD tattoo liner when I used to have it. I'm using the Stila pen now and it's awesome. Pretty similar to the KVD, although I think it actually lasts longer!

There was nothing really wrong with the double exposure palette. It's just that my collection is so large that I can dupe most of it. I need to add more unique items rather than more of what I already have.  The eyeshadow palette is what I was talking about. It's just a bit larger than the Tarte Mattnificent palette. I'm sure you remember the size of the other Pantone+ Sephora palettes. They were the size of a net book. The reason I didn't even swatch that palette is because it reminded me of the Metal palette they put out 3 years ago.

The Marsala palette is gorgeous! Such rich warm shades that are so buttery! Also lovvvvving the multiple, I used it last night

Thanks, feeling a little down still. Christmas just makes me kinda sad. My brother is the family's favorite, so it's like a bummer every Christmas u can definitely tell with the presents. I mean, I don't want anything for Christmas, it's not about what I have or not, but damn they make it obvious they really like him better :/ I'll figure out what to buy soon enough haha.. I was thinking maybe I'll save it for later and buy me a Zucca when I can, but I don't think I have that kind of self control haha

I didnt get gift cards this year. Everybody gave me clothes =/ they said i dont have clothes because always im buying makeup =(

My bf's mother was like this for so long... She would always try to buy me clothes/jewelry because I "have so much makeup". Recently, she finally gave up on that and started giving me gift cards, yayyyyyy! Hope maybe next year you get some GCs!

Hahaha I can totally sympathize with the family-thinking-you-have-everything thing. They really don't get it! I just stopped talking about makeup to my boyfriend altogether. And I'm now debating between picking up a few basics I need (Nars concealer, ABH brow highlighter) or the Guerlain Meteorites I've been lusting over for the last year. I haven't been able to bring myself to pull the trigger yet but I'm thinking a gift card should be used for frivolities, right? RIGHT!? I just ordered this Tarte palette from the Sale section and I'm in love. The reviews aren't so hot but the colours are exactly what I've been wanting in one palette for travel/summer so I'm hoping I'm the odd one out. HOW GORG IS THIS!? I also picked up the Urban Decay Pulp Fiction set for my baby sis who is a huge fan of the film. I may have bypassed the sale discount for the Fresh lip trio promo. WHO DOES THAT. UGH. Also, does anyone have any experience with Bare Minerals foundation vs MAC Studio Fix Powder? I bought the BM not too long ago as a "quick" alternative to my liquid foundation but I'm not 100% happy with the colour match/finish. It could just be because it's a powder and powders are powdery, though. Not sure what the MAC compact is like? I've been a loyal Sephora devotee for the last decade, MAC is like a whole new world to me!

I love the Chanel & MAC minis for my lower lashes only. I've amassed at least 10 of the MAC minis since November. They were one of the sample selections at Nordies.
