I didn't rush down to my local MAC, but i did get there early. It was chilly today (low 50s), so i sat in my warm car until about 10 minutes to 10. I was the first person, 2 more showed up. Neither was interested in Lightness of Being. Testing, testing... 0 MSF: Since i already have Lightscapade & Perfect Topping, i didn't even bother to test them. Even if these are better, i don't need two of each. 2 LipsticksTouch the Earth and Be Fabulous. I skipped BFTtE turned out to be a great neutral medium-light brown, not too light, or warm, or cool, or grey, so i got it. I love the way the Mineralize lipsticks feel on the lips. 3 Glosses: Beautiful Moves (green), On Cue (gold), and Poetic (pink champagne). They were nice & sparkly but quite sheer, i don't wear glosses all that often, and i have enough gold glosses, so i only got the green. 6 Eyeshadows: I tested all of them. They were all lovely and sparkly, but i have colors like them. I still ended up getting three - Just Breathe (pale aqua), Spiritual Life (lemon), and Natural Vigor (nude peach) and i think i may return one. So i got 1 lipstick, 1 gloss, 3 e/s, and Modern Movement Nail Lacquer. And i've never used Fix+, so i picked up one of the little "travel" bottles so i can see if it's useful to me.
Lovely overview of everything that you bought. I am still tempted by TtE but something keeps holding me back. Maybe it's the price and the worry that it's too brown for NC15? :dunno: For now I will hold off until more swatches/face views. I am so curious. Which eyeshadow are you considering returning?

When it comes to Touch the Earth, i think you may need to test, if that's possible.
I am between 15 & 20 and neutral. While i like warmer eyeshadows, I prefer cooler-toned lipsticks - any warmish colors i own have a touch of the cool in them - pinky peaches, pinky corals.
And i enjoy a cool brown or a grey brown, which don't work on some people.
But TtE was more of neutral brown, not inherently grey, and appeared to me to balance between warm and cool. So i think this will work on a wider range of skin tones than some of the other nude-ish browns MAC has come up with in the past couple years.

As for the eyeshadows, i need to test them on my eyes, as well as compare them to colors i already have.
Spiritual Life, light lemon - i have a lot of golds, but I like that this just a sparkly light yellow, so i think it's a keeper.
Natural Vigor, champagne peach - i may have a Pressed Pigment in this color... so i need to test and decide.
Just Breathe, light blue, is actually a light aqua - i have a Pressed Pigment in a similar color... so i need to test and decide.
These will wear differently from the PPs and other e/s, so i need to compare with what's in my makeup collection.

Leap, the lavender, is really quite lovely, but i have waaaaaay too many lavender / iris / lilac eyeshadows, so i passed in the store.
Uninterrupted is a sort of pewter grey, which may appeal to some, but i don't wear cool greys much, so i passed in the store. If it had been a warmer grey i might have given it more consideration.
Force of Nature is a warm brown. It can be sheered, but was basically too dark for me. My lids are already darker than the rest of my pale face and i'm usually looking for something to brighten and open my eyes. I mostly use matte browns as a crease color and this would not work that way for me. This will look different on people with a different lid color or different basic skin tone, tho, so may be great for others.

So I stopped by my store today to check out TtE, and I have to say that it didn't blow me over. Although still nice, it looked similar to some of my other lipsticks (I'm a natural/brown hoarder) so I decided to spare my wallet and go for PT instead. It was the perfect rose gold shade for my skin. I had considered Lightscapade in the past, but I'm medium olive and for me there was something about the silver that just wasn't convincing.

I also picked up Half 'n Half lipstick, which is just so lovely, I don't know why I didn't get it earlier :)

Thank you for your review. I think I am going to pass on this collection.

I ended up getting perfect topping. It's on the warm side which is a nice change from what i normally gravitate towards. 9 grams is a generous amount of product.

Was going to get Slate and Taupe but last minute got Ebony lol. So I guess I ended up skipping, picked up Fleshpot since Luxe Naturale was OOS surprisingly!

If I skipped this collection any harder I may hurt myself.

Sorry, i didn't even look at the blushes. Neither was a color for me.

Thanks for the info on Fix+. The MUA said a lot of the usual stuff, i have no quibble, that's how they're trained. So it's good to hear someone tell me their experiences with it.
i recently bought the fix+ with green tea. the mua was actually saying why it didn't work for his skin type and he isn't a fan. i was glad he was being honest with me, but i wanted to try it out anyway...and i like it. but i also like the toner from dr.hauschka which i use in the same way. i don't know whether or not my makeup stays on longer with it, i just like having a more 'natural' look right away, rather than waiting 30-60 mins for my makeup to kinda mesh with my skin oils...

In my opinion its the eyeliners that are THE things to get in this collection! But i am at a point in my collecting to go for the things I'm gonna use a lot! I also got TtE, which is nice but not quite LOVE! Wanted the green gloss but as we already know...its NOT green, it's CLEAR! lol might've gotten a blush but im refusing to pay the $27 for a MAC MB. But loving the liners! ;)
