I am so curious. Which eyeshadow are you considering returning?
When it comes to
Touch the Earth, i think you may need to test, if that's possible.
I am between 15 & 20 and neutral. While i like warmer eyeshadows, I prefer cooler-toned lipsticks - any warmish colors i own have a touch of the cool in them - pinky peaches, pinky corals.
And i enjoy a cool brown or a grey brown, which don't work on some people.
But
TtE was more of neutral brown, not inherently grey, and appeared to me to balance between warm and cool. So i think this will work on a wider range of skin tones than some of the other nude-ish browns MAC has come up with in the past couple years.
As for the eyeshadows, i need to test them on my eyes, as well as compare them to colors i already have.
•
Spiritual Life, light lemon - i have a lot of golds, but I like that this just a sparkly light yellow, so i think it's a keeper.
•
Natural Vigor, champagne peach - i may have a Pressed Pigment in this color... so i need to test and decide.
•
Just Breathe, light blue, is actually a light aqua - i have a Pressed Pigment in a similar color... so i need to test and decide.
These will wear differently from the PPs and other e/s, so i need to compare with what's in my makeup collection.
•
Leap, the lavender, is really quite lovely, but i have waaaaaay too many lavender / iris / lilac eyeshadows, so i passed in the store.
•
Uninterrupted is a sort of pewter grey, which may appeal to some, but i don't wear cool greys much, so i passed in the store. If it had been a warmer grey i might have given it more consideration.

Force of Nature is a warm brown. It can be sheered, but was basically too dark for me. My lids are already darker than the rest of my pale face and i'm usually looking for something to brighten and open my eyes. I mostly use matte browns as a crease color and this would not work that way for me. This will look different on people with a different lid color or different basic skin tone, tho, so may be great for others.
