Tom Ford Beauty Discussion

My lips are still very dry but here are Guillermo and Henry, with and without flash on my pigmented lips. Guillermo is quite different than Foudroyante on me and it's sooo creamy. I don't have a bronze like Henry either. Richard is on its way and I'm good with these :-D

Blake was the first one I wanted but the combo of the SA's opinion and Temptalia's low grade on it dissuaded me. Now must rethink.
Not sure why the SA was against the metallics, but personally I try to take reviews and opinions on cosmetics with a grain of salt. Because sometimes things that have worked well for me haven't on others, and vice versa. If you can, try to get Blake from somewhere with a good return policy. Sometimes there's just no way to know until you try it yourself!

So pretty AWS! I never even looked at Henry and now I'm wishing I had, but like you I think I'm done with these.

I thought Black Dahlia is also limited edition. If BD is permanent, I guess that explains why I still could find BD last month.
Yes, I think that one was limited too. I forgot that one.

I am wondering about availability of the lips and boys collection. I just got an email about this collection from Nordstrom, my Nordies told me they had everything earlier this week. Plus, I went to Bloomies and they had 2 displays of the collection. I wonder if the sell outs are just online and you have better luck if you can get to a store or call around. Just a thought.

Now I bought Blake and it is lovely but it reminds me so much of an old Mac lipstick but I can't remember which one. Mac used to do a lot of metallics back in the day and I bought most of them.

Hmmm-- Ella-- that sounds like a good idea. Wondering whether Nordies let you return something once you have tried it?

I need to stop coming to this thread.. I keep wanting more shades. Even though this December I've probably bought about 20 lippies and haven't worn them all yet.

Beautiful. I love them both on you.

Yes! Nordies has a great return policy. One of the best for cosmetics :)
Really? That is such good news because I ordered some of my outly-ers from them-- colors I was not sure about. I've been staring at them with the exception of Liam which I tried and love. Wondering whether I dare try the others. Plus I could order Blake. I've been waiting for the main order to arrive so that I can prioritize. But they may not get here until Tuesday. That means I could try Gustavo today. Also my SA is holding a Stavros for me although he does not think it will suit my fair neutral warm skin tone.

Isn't there a Tom Ford at your husband's terminal. That would be the best suggestion and I believe that it would be cheaper, all thanks to duty free (I think). Otherwise your best bet is to head down to Sloane Street or Oxford Street, but from reading one of your posts... That would be a no no. But what I don't get it is why is Selfridges charging such an extortionate amount for the lipsticks and postage, when you are in the UK
Hi Hun x Think I wrote my post wrong I bought jullian off selfridges online :) £26 plus postage £5.95 or what ever it is That came Xmas Eve I think it were Then I wanted to order and I had asked a girl on insta she said phone up sloane square London as them to keep them bk for you till you come or ....
