For the MAC dupe for Julian (Vivid Imagination) she lists Mac Please Me as being extremely similar to Vivid Imagination with the latter being slightly darker. I have Olivier. I adore the color. It's a cool pink with a touch of lavender that I think makes it unique. But I have to say I'm not very pleased with the formula. Hmm, based on your avi I would think Julian would look lovely on you! I have Julian and personally love it - so much! Maybe try it on again with something neutral and see how it goes? I personally like to try on lippies while I'm not wearing any makeup so it doesn't distract me. So the "wrong" blush could certainly make a difference!
I didn't try it on the lips. That's part of the reason I'm not going crazy chasing after it, I'm not sure it would be flattering on me. But it is super pretty in the tube. I really wish I had tried it on the lips. Maybe I'll go back this weekend.

I really hope they release a full size Julian, I have a feeling I'll be scraping this out of the bottom of the tube at some point. I'll try to do a lip swatch this weekend.
And I am seriously considering calling up the Neiman's and Nordstrom near me to see if I can find a Stavros. I can't stop thinking about him!

Yes, Tomas, is really perfect on me. It was the first color I was attracted to, but was giving it a pass because of the SA who was encouraging me to go more vibrant. But Ella challenged that-- in a good way-- and she was 100% right. He was pushing me towards more brights but he was only seeing my skin in the store lighting, and in natural lighting my olive undertone works with some pinks and looks terrible with others. Like I am not in love with Giacomo on me, although my other choices basically work, except for the two really odd ones, Gustavo and Stavros, which were my own experiment. Omar is also the perfect nude on me as it turns out, which Ella also drew my attention to. It's no MLBB but it is so perfect for my skin tone.
I just contacted my BG SA and pre-ordered the Jade shade along with one of the lipsticks. I'm pretty excited about it!

I actually love Olivier so much I contemplated backing it up until I tried it on again and the formula is just not worthy of backing up (IMO). In case you're interested, I went looking for dupes (I don't think some of Temptalia's dupes have enough lavender/lilac in them to really have the same effect). A couple I want to try are YSL Sheer Candy in #8 iced plum and Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy in 505 Orchid. Not sure how close they are IRL but thought maybe they have potential
