That is a gorgeous looking PTMy PT came in from Nordie's today, yayy! Can't wait to use it. I swatched it on my wrist without and with flash...please excuse my veiny wrists.

My mac counter only had one PT left, and I was lucky it had a lot of pretty veining! I love it! I just wish it lasted a little longer. I have oily/combo skin. I prep and use setting spray and finishing powder and usually don't have a problem with most highlighters staying put. Though PT seems to fade away relatively quickly for me. It's still a beautiful shade though.

Honestly I was determined to get it, went to mac swatches it and it was meh. It wasn't anything that I haven't seen as far as for a woc. Sucks. I'm thinking of going back this week and seeing if they will let me find one with good veining

Bought my PT beginning of January and I love the pattern and the subtle sheen it gives to my face!
I passed by my local MAC Store this afternoon and saw they got this collection (we get collections about a month after they have been released in the US). I took a little peek at the items and a swatch of PT but not a single thing interested me.....nothing for me this time around.

I swatched PT from Fantasy of Flowers with the tester for Lightness of Being at my PX and they are identical on my arm swatch. I thought it would look pinker or raspberry, but no it was the same. Justified skip!

I think it really depended on the one you got. They varied so wildly this time around. Mine swatches straight up pink.

A nice mix of colours
Swatched it looks like a mix of The Balm's Cindy & Mandy-Loumizers, but on my face I find it a bit disappointing actually, Lightscapade (I have the 2014 repackaged version, with lots of veining) looks better on me imo.

I think the variation of the swatches is attributable more to the difference in skin shades and undertones rather than deviation from standard production. I went there hoping for the same pretty swatch on your picture, but I guess since I'm medium NC, there was little expectation that it would show up like that on me. And indeed it was not to be, which was a let down because I really like the way it shows on you. It''s what I wanted Porcelain Pink msf to look on me.

You're exactly right. The skin plays a heavy part on how it's going to turn out from one person to the next. In a magical world of makeup every color looks gorgeous on every woman. (I can dream can't i?)
