Chanel Spring 2015

I finally caved and bought Tissé Fantaisie and La Petillante. After my recent Tom Ford extravaganza I initially wanted to abstain from buying anymore lipsticks and eyeshadows for at least two months, but those two items are simply too pretty to skip.

And I think Fantaisie will be a really good addition to Tissé Venitien. I can imagine any combination of the two quads are going to work.

Oh that's great FF!!!!! Loving both of those and I totally agree----The two palettes will be good together for creating even more amazing looks!!!

I'm officially in love with paradisio np. True, it could have been greener, or more daring but to me it's just pure metallic perfection, a colour perfect for this time of the year with its icy brightness. I love it!
I've not yet worn mine but I intend to really soon. I like that it's pale----that's what attracted me to it!!!

LOL. Expensive hand serum. :)

I like the whitening cream blush and JC. The others look like something I already have. I want to see swatches of the quad.

I got a sample and tried it on my face. The scent is strong, but it is not unpleasant and it disappears fast. But I felt it was a bit too much when i was applying.
It's interesting to me that the serum is supposed to have "droplets from the healing camellia blossom," which inspired the design of the highlighter,
Camélia De Plumes. I think that's pretty cool. Yesterday I ordered a statement necklace, the design of which was inspired by the Camélia flower.
As soon as I read that I had to have it!!

I passed on the Cambon palette which has a purple & a lavender shade so I'd like to see how this one compares to it. Perhaps I'll like it better.

So is the serum total body???

Hmm, Tissé Fantaisie and La Petillante just arrived and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. The lipstick is a lot more red IRL than all the swatches I saw. It's not a bad shade, but it's not as unique as I thought it would be.

But well, one can never have enough reds and it is a very fresh, spring red, so that's ok.

The quad, however, is disappointing IMO. Handswatches show really pretty, pigmented colors, but they don't translate to the lids that well. The colors are very sheer, except the dark brown. The latter has a beautiful rosegold shimmer, but I don't see much of it once it's applied on the lid. I've tried numerous brushes as well as the small applicators that came with the quad, but no success at all.

I'm not sure, did I expect too much, now that I'm used to TF quads? But I think the other new Chanel quads are a lot better. I have Rivoli, Venitien and Gabrielle. They're all less sheer and the colors look the same on the lid as on the hand. Fantaisie seems a bit like a fallback to the bad old days of "rest-of-the-world" quads. Although the shadows are not as powdery and dry as the old ones.

Hey everyone!
I bought Etourdie yesterday and have worn it today, it's really a lovely for my complexion and I always like the feeling RCS give my lips. Although I'm on a low-buy, I'm still craving Badine and Tisse Paris (at least concerning the latter, there's no need to hurry). So I will wait until February to wait for my new beauty budget and see what's still available. I've decided to skip the blush 'cause I already got Innocence and two Mac blushes that almost look the same. But I swiped my finger over the tester and it's soooo soft! The pattern is surely cute as well. I was the first person to touch the pristine tester and the embossing gets ruined easily because the consistency is super soft.

@Filmfreak : oh my, that's a pity. Are you gonna keep the quad? I found the color of la Petillante really nice, although it might not suit me as perfectly as Eturdie.
By the way, you might still know me from the Beautyjunkies forum (my screen name's Miss Austen there), well there's nothing really happening over there at the moment.

Hi there! Of course I remember you, seems like more and more of us gather here.
Yes, I think I'll keep the quad and try to make it work somehow. I'll be interested in what you'll say once you have Tissé Paris and Badine. Maybe Paris is the better option? Badine seems to have some problems too. Youtuber Mallory wasn't happy with the formula. But she liked the quads, so I don't know if I'd agree with her opinion anyway.

Thanks for the link! I haven't known her before since I'm not really into youtubers (mostly Lisa Eldridge and Magimania, and that's it, and lately some random shop-my-stash and low-buy videos). But I definitely got a problem with dry lips in Winter, so I might reconsider Badine. Urban Decay's Native seems to be quite similar and I've always wanted to try the Revolution Lipsticks, so I might give Native a try instead later on (although I'd be missing the great rose scent then).
In case I might get Paris in February, I'll post my opinion, of course. I don't own any of the new quads. I've got Taupe Grise and Gri Gri as Monos and the Rose Majeur Duo so far, and I love the softness of the looks I create with these. The eyeshadows are so nice and easy to blend.

I couldn't agree with you more! I have a sample tube of the new hydramax syrum too, and today was my second day using it. It's very lightweight, almost watery. It really keeps my skin feeling very moist all day long, but it's not greasy or heavy. Really good stuff. I'm combination, tending on the drier side.

Thats awesome! Yes, it really does hydrate the skin all day long. I guess its supposed to have some time of encapsulated time release moisture system within moisture - well, something like that is how the SA was explaining it to me. Thanks for letting us know that you like it.

That must be why (it's almost a little freakish) the way it feels, hours later, like you've just put it on. I'm convinced I need the full size bottle soon.

I have Taupe Grisé and Gri Gri as well, and the new quads definitely have the same good quality as the monos. I think if you like neutrals, you'd love Rivoli and Gabrielle.

Gabrielle is the one from the perm line which I've chosen to buy one day. It looks lovely. I also love the greenish quad (Venetien?), it's colorful without being too flashy for work. Chanel makeup always seems so classy to me (well, I guess their marketing has gone right, lol).

The Pet turns a reddish pink coral on my handswatch, that why I choose sissy ra and desinvolte coco shine. Today I added tisse fantasie, I'll review as soon as I can

I don't care for Tissé Fantaisie. I never thought I wouldn't love it with those colors. I don't feel like they work very well on the lid. Maybe the colors just don't like my eyelids. I really like Posei and even though I find it similar to Raffinement I love them both. I have my eye on that spring quad. I hope it's as nice as it looks in the pic and of course performs well. My Dior House of Greens arrived yesterday and I am hoping it works as nice as it looks. I love greens.

I hope you' enjoy your Dior, they do great products. But after many years, I'm sure that it is Chanel that does GREENS like no one else!
