I'm thinking I'll just get Barbeque and Victoriana lipglasses. The penciled in collection will get most of my $$$ this time.

Just Oxblood and the matching lipglass for me. I have my eye on several of the pencils from the pencilled in collection so I'm keeping it short and sweet with Toledo.

Thoughts on this collection:
-the lip glosses are surprisingly pigmented for mac glosses
-10 grams for the blushes sweet!
- the blushes are overpriced despite having more product in canadian dollars, I mean $39 come on
-the lipsticks are nice though nothing unique
-azalea blossom is gorgeous though do I need it since I have shu uemura's soft mauve which is probs though not for sure a nicer texture, but also I look really good in it, so inner struggle lol
-some of the eyeliners are pretty decent
-these are some of the nicest le mac eyeshadow palettes I've seen in ages
-the eyeshadow palettes though way nicer than past ones, have way too little product
Overall, quite a nice well rounded collection with a lot of at least half decent products.
Now mulling over whether to get azalea blossom or not, and wondering if I will regret it, and if it is worth the price, and if I'll see something better.
Also, it's annoying that temptalia wasn't given an azalea blossom to review.

For what it's worth I LOVE lavender blush, but I found Azalea Blossom (both releases) to be a weird color....there is something about the pink half that is so 'unnatural' (too much white?) that it just looks wrong on me. Somehow The pink looks less 'natural' than the purple, and it gets in the way of how you can use purples to get a real good healthy looking flush, sticking bright cotton candy into that mix doesn't really work. For me anyway. But I'm sure there are many people who are making it work brilliantly for them! If you can get your hands on Sakura from Quite Cute I'd do that instead. NW20 btw.

I wanted Opera but it doesn't look special to me. Barbecue ls and Chlorophyl mascara are on my list. Sin lip glass is possible because I don't think I've ever seen it as a lipglass. I really wanted Opera. Womp womp.

Plus Mac has a permanent lavender blush as does lancome and marc jacobs so those are also options for me. I'm loving my shu uemura lavender blush, so the standard on a nice buttery texture is high. I totally agree that lavender blushes can give a really nice flush. I naturally have a lot of pink in my cheeks, and I find that lavender offsets that in a brightening way. I can see why there is lavender in guerlain powders.

Yeah, I'm really hoping Opera looks more like Karen's swatch. Don't really need another Kinky/Stunner hybrid. Even the gloss version looks bright. I was interested in the lipglass of Sin but I'm not so sure after Christine's swatch. It looks streaky and it did really slip into her liplines. Hmmm... Wish we could get pics of both Victorianas.

It might be that my tablet screen is playing tricks on me, but Tenor Voice, Victoriana, and Opera lipgloss look the same to me.
The difference between the three of them is very minor. With a quick glance they pretty much look the same.

My wishlist from this collection underwent some serious pruning when I saw the other new collection threads. I was thinking all the lippies minus Sin, now my only definite is Oxblood. I wanted all three blushes too but I'm on the fence now. Ripe Peach looks way too similar to the orange Proenza, so I shouldn't be getting it. Kindergarten Red looks nothing like I envisaged it, so I have no idea what to think about that one. The strongest contender at the moment is Azalea Blossom, but in some swatches it has no purple tone to speak of (and I want purple dammit!). Most confusing...
