Me too!!! If people are willing to pay $200+ for it, it must be amazing! I think it will be good, but I don't see it being the most unique highlighter ever, I've seen swatches comparing it to the likes of Bobbi Brown Shimmerbricks and others and even though there are slight color variances those options are similar enough when worn.
Here's the thing about WoG: when it came out, nobody else was doing a texture that was that smooth and "wet look" (even the Estee Lauder ones came out a little later if I recall correctly). Then WoG was also the palest color that came out of the 3 EDSFs that were in the collection, so it was even wetter look because of that, and most suitable for a wide variety of skin tones compared to Superb and Glorify.

All the others have been rereleased but WoG hasn't, so it's got this mystique, but the truth is there have been other highlighters that have come out since then that use basically the same technology and formula, so it's not as unique as it was when it first came out. Not to mention, that really shiny wet looking highlight style has been falling out of fashion a bit in lieu of more subtle versions to go with everyone's matte love. I think if they bring it back, people will like it a lot (I still use mine plenty), but most folks will also be thinking "so THIS was the big deal??", at least a little.

Why did it had to be those stupid veluxe pearlfusion palettes?
Because believe it or not, they are actually really good sellers for MAC in the freestanding stores. The form factor must be pretty eye catching for random, in-person shoppers, for whatever reason.

Personally, I like the Pressed Pigments and Electric Cool shadows better for the mega-sparkly look, but I do like and use the one pearlfusion palette I got in the Riri holiday collection. I've also been pretty tempted by that Bao Bao one, but I'll need to see it in person first.

I saw a picture of Tumble Dry this morning... And now I can't find it
The lipstick looks pretty but I really don't like the packaging.

Gosh, so true. In fact, this probably applies to most, if not all, coveted products. Ripe Peach Ombre is just another example.

I completely agree with you! I will definitely pick up WoG if it makes a comeback sooner or later, I just don't have unrealistic expectations for it.
