and a bit shy about posting so I mostly lurk.  I was waiting all day for this collection to go live the minute I step away to go cook it goes live and I missed out on oxblood.  Congrats to all the ladies that managed to get it.

Managed to snag Oxblood... and Victoriana and KR (don't judge me Ms. Vandekamp - I'm weak!

 ).  Hope you managed to get OB too!

I will never judge you. Lol. I know the struggle is real. I tried to grab Oxblood and it was sold out. I grabbed the other lipsticks except BBQ.

I'll be stalking Nordies for Oxblood and maybe Ripe Peach.  I feel like I want to play with Ripe Peach before I commit ya know? 

I'm going to snag OB from Nordstroms. It's easier to return if I don't like it.

I only got Tenor Voice. I WANT OXBLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sigh:

Well, the order has gone through. It's now in the warehouse stage. A few other Brits on here have picked up on this and ordered Oxblood themselves

There is a reason why NYX Stockholm is $6. It's beautiful, has a nice thin formula, and dries up to a nice matte finish but it has crappy staying power and while it fades it leaves an uneven coloration. Stays 45 minutes on me tops. Ofcourse this is just my personal experience of it.

Sorry quoted the wrong vid. I was referring to the vid with the dark skinned lady.

The lighting in her vid looks off to me. It's making her makeup come across ashy. I am pretty dark skinned myself, and it's nothing a swipe of chestnut or cork can't fix. Any nude/peachy colours requires a lip liner for us darker girls so *shrugs*

I know but sometimes you just gotta say no lol. I don't think peaches and corals suit my skin tone anyway.

I was hoping for Oxblood to be more of a pinkish nude with just slight peachiness... Sometimes KS is too peachy for me. I don't often feel like wearing it.
It was the first lipstick I got from MAC so I have a special bond with that one but there are just so many lipsticks that look better on me.

To the untrained eye those reds look exactly the same! I really wanted to get a lippie for the packaging but oxblood is just looking too peachy and those reds all look too average.. I'm considering BBQ right now although I don't usually go for orange reds... hmm... BBQ on pale skin with blue/pink undertones?

I really appreciate how thorough she is and that she bought the entire collection to share with us. Although I love the packages for the blushes I'll save my money. I still can't decide whether to get an eyeshadow palette

If so it's between the purple and green. I'm almost finished clearing out my collection of back ups and unused makeup and I now only want to buy things I will actual use. I can be thankful that I'm not into reds because lawd! But thanks to this video I've narrowed my choices to three items. I knew that Oxblood lipgloss wasn't similar to the lipstick so yay! I'm getting it.

I'd start with a drugstore orange. Because once the initial excitement of something new is over you might realize it's not for you. I bought Morange (which doesn't last on me and gets into every lipline

) and realized I'm not into super warm lippies.
