You and me both! lolI caved in and placed a 2nd order for AB, Barbecue, Opera, and Tenor Voice. I used the code NEXT so they'll be here tomorrow.
My final haul... all 3 blushes and all 5 new lipsticks! Ugh, I'm really bad at this "low buy" thing.

Oxblood looks fabulous on everyone and although other lighter gals like dolly and Mandy look beautiful in it I couldn't pull it off IMO. I feel it's something my bf or a guy might like on me but in their lighting and what not I thought I looked washed out and more pale in a not good way. I also tried Victoriana because it was the only other one to catch my eye but it looked like any other red on me. I also tried the blushes and they looked different compared to the Proenza ones on me but they just didn't dazzle me for $40 so as much as I like the packaging I didn't get a thing. So score 1 for team low buy

Standing in front of my local counter now waiting on them to open the doors. Unless someone got in through another entrance then I'm the first one here . So ready to get my goodies! Good luck to everyone going in store today.

hahaha! This is so funny! I was visualizing you. I'm glad you love OB.Typing this as I open the box (because I walked into the store and yelled oxblood! paid for it, and ran to work) OMG THE PACKAGING IS RUBBERIZED MATTE WHITE!! It feels so nice and the box has a sleeve, am I the only one going crazy over this?! I haven't even opened the bullet and I already love this!! *opens lipstick* This color is as awesome as I wanted it to be, it's similar to Bad Girl Riri (I'll swatch a comparison when I calm down) and some people mentioned their lipsticks (or was it lipglass?) smelled weird, mine has the regular vanilla scent we all know and love

Woo! Got my oxblood bu! Decided to pass on the blushes and the brush. Blushes weren't pigmented enough for the money and RP was too sparkly. The brush was smaller than I expected and felt kind of cheap, so I passed. This ended up being a smaller haul than I expected!

My sense of smell may be a little off since I'm fighting off the flu but my OB has a coconut and slightly plastic smell. Hopefully I feel better tomorrow because I'm dying to try it on.

During the rocky horror launch people were saying their lipsticks smelled a little coconut ish and I agree mine did too so it might not be just you

Honestly, hope I don't offend anyone but I was majorly disappointed in this collection when I went to the counter this morning. Victoriana is the stand out for me, I got it for my mom. The packaging is stunning, but what's up with 3 super similar reds? Too many choices make people not want to buy (thanks advertising class.) I think that's why the reds are still hanging around on the website.
I did find the matte lipsticks (besides Sin) to be super silicon-y feeling, in a really good way. They felt creamier while still keeping a matte finish. That impressed me.
Oxblood, to me, is way overrated. Pretty color but while owning Kinda Sexy I just cannot justify this. The ombre blushes look beautiful but the pigmentation just isn't there.
I dunno. I think this collection was so easy to skip, which is sad because of the super art deco packaging. This is just my opinion, hope I didn't rain on anyones parade! If I were new to mac and building my collection I'm sure the lipsticks would have been more successful for me.
You ladies make this collection look good though, that's for sure! Everyone is looking cute in their new lipsticks!

Thank you!! I got everything I wanted. Sin lipstick x2, Oxblood lipstick and gloss. I wasn't going to buy Oxblood but I swatched it and fell in love. I was the first person at my counter and there were only 4 Oxblood lipsticks. So happy I was able to get it.
