MAC X Toledo Collection (Feb 5, 2015)

I went to my counter to check out the collection. Really wanted Kindergarten Red but of course, it had a film over the top of it which the MA had to wipe off before I could get any color payoff. When I was finally able to try it, the color payoff was still not great and it just looked pink on me. Barbecue with Auburn liner turned out better than I thought it would so I picked it up, with it's matching lipglass as well as Victoriana lipstick and lipglass. I was disappointed in Sin lipglass. I didn't think it looked like the lipstick at all. Wanted Bellgreens and Violetwink but I will attend the event next week and maybe purchase them then. I'm wearing Chlorafill mascara now. It's such a crazy color but I didn't buy it because I knew I would never wear it.

Her swatch is what sealed the deal on me getting it just now! I tried it on in store and left it behind for some odd reason,but have since rectified that mistake by ordering it. Lol

im so excited u sum it up this is exactly how I feel about this collection I fell in love with the couple then the packaging honestly if it was a regular mac collection I probably would have not got as much as I did but I'm super happy about this one its one of my fave mac collections to date

Tenor voice....One of my favorites!!One thing though I think sometimes people hip up a product so much and everyone falls in the trap.My favorite lip products from this collection are barbecue,tenor voice,and maybe oxford but with the lipglass...You have to go to the store and try these on to really see how it looks on you.Everyone was raving about victoriana,and opera honestly they were ok.And the funny thing is they look almost identical on the lips

i loveeeeee tenor voice on ui love Victoriana and think its going to be my fave from this collection and want a bu but if its so close to opera hmmmmm who knows I will wait a bit and do swatches when my items arrival And I agree about hype I rarely fall for the hype I usually know right away if I'm going to love a product or not i find when u do fall for the hype often u be disappointed in the product

I completely skipped this collection. Victoriana was nice but I love glam so much more.Ripe peach was a huge let down.
