I don't know...I think that this collection COULD have been sweet & amazing. I see Cinderella with sweet flushed cheeks & lips & throw some delicate pearl/soft shimmer topping over that, not just nothingness like it is now.

So do I. Nice pink blush, pretty pink lips etc. All this nude-ness/sheer-ness is so unnecessary! The only thing of sight interest is Coupe d'Chic but it looks like it will look like every other highlight powder I own.

Yep, Yep, Yep...I agree with all you said. C d'C looks like it may be very shimmery. Its so disappointing for a collection that should be amazing.

Even the Simpsons was more interesting than this! MAC needs to stop collaborating with Disney because their collabs are so boring!

I loved the Simpsons collection even if there weren't any lipsticks. I agree with you about the MAC x Disney collections. Sephora's version was so much better despite the bland lipsticks. This version reminds me of high school prom and picture day makeup.

I Don't think this collection is boring. Not every collection has to have bright colors. Sometimes they need to cater lighter skin tone customers who prefer light and soft makeup.

MAC releases gazillion collections a year that have dark and bright lipsticks and things that are not wearable in everyday world for most of the women. So I think it's ok to release something different.

Having these kind of colors with Cinderella name on it is very logical. She doesn't really look like she would wear Heroine ? (or something on that page)

I surprisingly like this collection. I do not care about Disney nor the special packaging .

I second that. I want the packaging but I'm concerned about how the colors will show up on WOC
Me too. And from what I have seen from T's swatches, nothing will show up on me. When the time comes, I'll have to see how I feel about spending $$$ for the Cinderella name on an item that I can't use.

But will these show up on lighter skinned people? You can barely see some of them on T from her swatches. Yes, not every MAC collection has to have bright or dark lipsticks but some of these Cinderella colors look a little to light.

I don't think anyone was suggesting heroine here or anything on the far end of bright. The Sharon Obsbourne end of the collection contained things that would have suited Cinderella and were a lot more interesting in my opinion. Even the Magnetic nude collection was more interesting and would have suited the Cinderella theme as well. I'm all for having collections that cater to different people, but having a LE collection with 2 single lipglosses both of which are virtually clear (when you can get these in the permanent range already) just seems like a let down.

Thank you!! A bit too much shimmer??!! Anyways this reminds me of Cindy Lou and I love it so probably should skip but still pretty!!
Me too! Funny, she listed it as a dupe but said Cindy-Lou was darker and less sparkly so I think I'm good with Cindy-Lou!

I didn't mean to offend anyone I was maybe trying to find an explanation for such a plain color story

I agree on the glosses that are clear but for example most of the time I only wear colors sheer like that. If you look at Toledo I didn't buy any of them they were either too dark or too opaque

It is at least great that they have SO MANY collections and that each of us can find something for themselves. It is not a must buying from every single collection.

I didn't find what you said offensive. I totally understood. I just feel like when MAC collaborates with certain companies, their creativity seems so stunted. For example, they could've done a clear gloss with glitter, a nice peachy gloss (something like water deities from AA) and then a sheer pink gloss. The Cinderella story touches so many people it just feels like a let down that everybody can't enjoy this one. At least I can't. Are you going to get anything though Monsy? I'm iffy about Coup D'Chic.

I was hoping for something natural-looking yet universally flattering. Perhaps a couple of "my lips but better" shades or a soft pink or peach blush.
