Ella, I saw on your IG that you got the Dior palette. How is the texture-- sometimes their shadows are a bit dry? Also how are you liking the MAC Toledo peach blush. Does it measure up to its reputation?

Yes. I saw Colour Me Loud last night and wished I hadn't. Just ordered Jade Green. Was really not expecting to. I was thinking to just get the YSL Chinese New Year palette which is a beautiful red Valentine case housing Saharienne # 4. I love their formula. I know that the colors will seem blah to many people, but I can't wear most neutral palettes because they are too warm. This one is a real cool neutral. And now I have to debate whether I need them both. Oh well.
LOL well I'm falling down the rabbit hole right after you because I'm quite certain I'm going to pick that one up as well. I'm just going to embrace my obsession with green eyeshadow and enjoy it

The texture is very creamy and buttery but I'm not sure how long it would last on the eyes. I left it on my hand for more than 10 minutes and it smudged very easily. I'll try it on tomorrow.

The Black jade nail polish looks plain black in artificial lighting, the shimmer shows only when it's under the lamp, which is quite disappointing.
Also there was an offer - a free mini lipstick when you order 2 TF products, which I did not receive, so I'm going to contact them about it.
Thank you so much for sharing! My first thought was that - at least, in this light - it reminds me of the Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill (in the pot) in #25 Rusted Gold. Not what I was expecting, but I do love a blackened khaki. Will be curious to hear how different you think it looks in the daylight. As to the wear, I have noticed that my 2 TF cream shadows behave similarly in that they don't really set much on my hand or finger. They're very smooth and wet, but I have never had a problem with them smudging on my eye, so I imagine this one is probably similar. And I suspected as much about that green NP. I have 2 other blackened greens (Laura Mercier Bewitched and A England Saint George) that show tons of dimension, so I'm afraid I might be as underwhelmed with the TF green as you are.

I called my SA about the spring collection. She said she was going to go for training next week and they would get the collection within a few days after that. So I figure within the next two weeks.

I posted a couple extra shots of the Tangerine Dream palette here http://www.specktra.net/t/132941/dior-cosmetics-discussion/5070#post_2886437 . I love it! Texturally they were consistent and smooth, not dry at all. I just had issue trying to build up the light peach on me, but I think that's just due to my skin tone. Haven't tried the Ripe Peach blush yet but I did try Azalea Blossom. I'll post swatches on IG tonight. There definitely is a weird film on it that prevents you from picking up much color, particularly with your finger. Trying to swatch it with my finger was futile and normally that's how I get my best swatches. But when I used a dense brush (I used the Real Techniques Expert Face Brush), I was able to pick up and build plenty of color on my cheeks so...not a fan of the blush formula but it doesn't seem to interfere with application as long as you find the right brush!

Well, on the Dior I have the opposite issue. I have fair skin and raccoon eyes so I need those pale neutrals. I betcha that the light peach will be my favorite. I do have the YSL number 9 palette which is rosy peachy and one of my favorite palettes. In the new Dior the peaches are slightly warmer without I hope being too warm. The YSL Chinese New Year also has a peach shade which is really neutral-- I love it. In any case, I did manage to order the Dior-- but I really need to swatch to make it sure it works for me before I use it. And after all our exchanges about the Jade Green, I could not believe that I wound up ordering it. It is really the only one of the duos I could wear. The plum would not work on me. In the 2015 cle de peau there is also a new quad that looks to be three pale yellows in slightly different shades and a purple-ish color. Must get over to see that one in person. So I was playing around with the yellows in two different years of the Jardin palettes to see whether I could wear yellow. There was one shade that was a shimmery yellow with a slight edge of green and it was fabulous-- that was how I too gave into my addiction to green shadows and got the TF. If you wear yellows-- check out the CdP-- it is really unique.

I googled the Armani one and it does look similar but the TF one is definitely more brown. I actually expected the colour to be the one that the models were wearing on the ss15 show. And the eyeshadow is called Spring 2015!
I'll return the NP, I don't like it at all. I recently got the Azature green one and it's gorgeous BUT I have never seen such a messy and staining nail polish! My whole hands were green after I took it off, thank god I wore a base. It's unacceptable for that price tag.

So I put it on my eyes and I really like it now

It really makes my eyes pop.

Looking at this picture, it is indeed the es used on the models!

Oh yay! I'm glad you like it now! I ADORE IT on that model. I am totally in now, thank you so much for all the info!

As for the NPs, yeah I understand your returning it. I still think I will probably try the blue one, although I'm not sure that will blow my mind either. Always a disappointment when the shimmer doesn't translate to the nail. I hadn't heard of Azature so I googled it. You're right you shouldn't get staining, especially at that price point!

Well I think that's what convinced me to get the Jade duo as well. I know I'd wear it. That, and I think the light mint shade is rather unique, so hopefully I'll feel justified!

As to yellows, I'm not sure they're so great on me but admittedly I haven't tried many. But I'm always game to experiment and I really have not had much experience with CdP so I will look into those, thanks!

I had to do that once too for a promotional mini lippie---I'm now wondering if it really was inadvertent. It was sent to me separately, only after I brought it to the SA's attention.

I have, and love the # 9, Babay Doll Nude palette. I was attracted to the unique colors in the palette!! The TF Jade Green is so irresistible. I hope you love it!!!!

That looks amazing!!!! I have one TF cream shadow, Illicit 03 (Bronze) and can't seem to get accustomed to the wetness of it. The color is really very nice though.

Sigh.

I caved today and changed my pre-order to include the Indigo duo. I also decided to wait for the Beauty Event since it's likely to be late next week before my counter gets the collection. At that point, why not just wait less than a week and get the GWP?
