I was feeling very strong about skipping this collection until I saw this! I just couldn't stop thinking about your swatches lol. I have tons of reds, so I'm trying really hard not to buy any more reds. But but but... This stole my heart! I went into my store today and swatched it and just had to have it. It is so gorgeous and I don't think I have anything like it in my collection. Thank you!

I am really trying to talk myself out of Opera. I was only supposed to get Ob and BBQ. I ended up with Tenor Voice and Victoriana as well. :thud:

So yesterday I went to the store to get my goodies and thank you @allthingsglam for getting me to consider Victoriana. I usually do deeper darker vampier reds like Deeply Adored, rather than pinky reds. I also ended up with BBQ even though Milani Matte Passion is an EXACT dupe for it. I'm keeping the Toledo because the packaging is beautiful. I will pass on the Milani to my sister. On my way out I had walked through Nordstrom's and ended up talking to my favorite MUA at the MAC counter there. I ended up swatching Opera and bought that from her. It's a truer and brighter red than I'm used to, but it looks great on.

Went to my Nordstrom counter to pick up the oxblood l/s I had ordered and paid for over the phone....and the MUA came back almost in tears that she couldn't find it! She thought someone else had accidentally sold it! Luckily another girl helped and they ended up finding my order but it was a frightening 25 minutes! So I finally have OB in hand after 2 canceled orders and I love it! Well worth the effort. Now I just wish I had grabbed the OB l/g at the same time!

Thank you ladies for all your help in tracking this one down! Everyone looks lovely in their new items!

I was considering Oxblood and Sin glosses but since I don't really wear glosses I decided to let those go. I will say this though. The Oxblood gloss was a better looking color on me. The lipstick was very peach and the gloss has more pink. Anyone else agree?

I agree. Oxblood lipstick alone is very peachy but once you put on the lipglass on top, it transforms into a beautiful peachy-pink. I really was hesitant on this lipstick and lipglass duo in the beginning....at one point I was even prepping what lip pencils to pair them with but I'm so glad I picked them up.

Its beautiful on! Its a very deeper rich looking red. The texture & color payoff is awesome.
