MAC X Toledo Collection (Feb 5, 2015)

I really appreciated your input on that post!
My eyes are so strange, they are green but they love to fool people and look brown half the time. That's probably why I always go for green eye products, I love to draw the green out in my eyes. Tarot was so cute and pretty so I may have to check it out one more time. Plus I might be wrong here, but Tarot bubble tea is the prettiest shade of lavender so I love that the purple mascara is named Tarot. (Names always are a selling point for me, lol) I used to wear blue mascara a lot in high school, so that could be an option too. Or I might just stop at the green. Idk. I'm a very indecisive person if you can't tell.
That look you described is seriously what I go for a lot. You kind of just nailed it. We are totally on the same page girl! The only difference is I live in dark clothing lol.

I mostly wear black too, but I'd make an exception for Chlorafil!

I've found that green eye makeup often makes them look less bright and a little muddy - it's the one eye makeup color I have to be really picky with. Definitely go with Tarot, because purple eye makeup is the #1 best thing to really bring out the green in anyone's eyes. I was able to try everything on before I decided, because they opened up brand new testers for me, but normally I wouldn't touch mascara testers with a 10 foot pole. Makes shopping for them a little bit of a crapshoot. Strong purple or burgundy colored mascara are the colors that bring out the most green for me just in general, though.

Seriously, I wish someone would have warned me! I have gone back everyday in the past three days! I made a wish list for some essential products that I will NEED...and another list for the things I WANT, lol...I hit the grown running as it pertains to this makeup habit!

**ATTENTION** For anyone living in Berkeley, California: The MAC Pro store on 4th Street still has the Ripe Peach blusher and Oxblood lipstick as of today! When I left, they had 4 more Ripe Peaches, and 2 more oxbloods

I'm sure you will love Victoriana I'm most intrigued by Tenor Voice! I saw you were contemplating Opera too? Did you end up getting it? I've been away for  3 day vaykay and keeping up with this thread has been a challenge lol. It has totally exploded!! I went to a department store here to buy Toxic Talen as I had gift cards to use there, and they said the Mac Red collection was pro-store only here...I found that quite odd. I then ordered it from Nordies, I think I would be kicking myself if I skipped it. I think BBQ looks amazing on her, I considered getting it after seeing her lip swatch, but I am not sure if I will get much use from it. I have Sail La Vie and I can't say it gets used much. It does look exactly like a BBQ flame:haha: Why am I interested in this shade?! @elegant-one what do you think? Ok guys I impulsively bought Chlorafill mascara today. Idk what my problem is, but I just got this idea in my head that I wanted green mascara so I could look as weird as possible. And guys, this did not disappoint. I'm wearing it right now and I may have spoke too soon about this collection being a total fail. Even though the majority of it sucks for me, Victoriana and Chlorafill are absolutely welcome additions to my collection. I tried to get a good photo of this green mascara because it's not that easy but I managed as best as I could. If you wanna look weird (in a GOOD WAY) get Chlorafill! Like seriously now all I wanna do is walk around NYC some more so people can wonder whats wrong with me (lmao)

I got both! Tenor Voice was the only gloss I wanted besides Oxblood - it goes on so smoothly.

I usually stay far away from red gloss too.

Its so darn GORGEOUS! I love wearing TV gloss very sheer too. Its an amazing gloss.

Lol sadly @allthingsglam OB just didn't look good on me. The matte formula, though imo is MUCH better than my Osbourne matte (SP). OB reminded me of the Ultimate lipsticks, formula-wise. Mine had the normal great MAC vanilla scent. Unfortunately the color didn't work for me so I slapped on the Nordstrom return label and exchanged it for Japanese Maple lol But I'm so happy OB worked out so much better on you than TF First Time!

My Victoriana arrived and it is beautiful

I still haven't picked up TV or Opera yet, although I am very tempted to get both. Next week is Winter Break, and I just have a bunch of marking to do so perhaps I will take a break and wander up to Mac. I am betting that the reds will probably be in stock since they are still available online.

Toxic Tale is a beauty! Glad you picked it up! Am still awaiting more swatches and info on Burmese Kiss--I really hope that it is pinker than Toying Around. Fingers crossed!

Well, I was thinking about Barbeque gloss. I love how it looks in swatches. I swore off gloss for the longest time but these are so amazing.
