So a question on VIB points... We get a point for every dollar spent, right? So if we are getting something for 100 points, it cost us $100?

I feel the same way too. I would NEVER make a $100 purchase for a mini lipstick, but I have a few thousand points to burn and the MJ lipstick and the Chloe Love Story perfume are, IMO, the best perks to come around in a while...we'll just ignore the fact that I went to Sephora today for both and they had neither one even though yesterday evening they claimed to have quite a bit in stock. I guess the mall walkers cleared them out by 10:30 am.

Yes, and I love Ulta because of it! I make sure to only redeem in 2000 point increments so I can get the extra $25 bonus too. And, I love the fact that it can be redeemed even when using a coupon. I usually wait for the 20% off prestige coupon to cash in my points and I walk out of Ulta feeling like a champ.

Yep, and they have points bonus events too, like 5x points or whatever. You can start redeeming at just 100 points, which is $3. They have a few levels but 1000 points is $50 and 2000 points is $125. So you get more bang for your buck by banking the points. Plus, you can use the coupon and get whatever gifts with purchase you qualify for as well. I usually buy certain items at Ulta over Sephora, if they carry it, so that I can get my points.

Did anyone else see lit cosmetics is doing a free gift with purchase? When you buy a lit kit you email them proof of purchase and then they send you a glitter of your choice, a glitter of their choice and a glitter duster and you don't pay for shipping! Lit has the best glitter ☆

I went to a sephora & makeup forever private screening of 50 Shades tonight and received the Desire Me Blush Trio as a free gift. I'm so thrilled because I was interested in it. I've read mixed reviews so fingers crossed it works for me!

Yes! The eye cream alone is worth it. LOVE the MJ lipstick. I got 2, one for me & one for my daughter in law.

I was curious as well so I called Sephora customer service. She said the complete eye renewal balm is .23oz the firming & lifting serum is .17oz and the genius eye cream is .23 oz
