All this talk finally pushed me over the edge and I ordered the EL powder last night. So glad I did b/c it's gone now! Also ordered 2 of the new Bobbi Brown blush/highlighter palettes. Excited for my goodies to arrive!

Has anyone bought the light filtering contour palette by Marc Jacobs? If so, how do you like it?

The palettes are a good deal. Her regular blush is 0.13 oz for $27. The palettes have two blushes at 0.12 oz each for $45, plus you get a highlighter. I got the berry and coral.

Totally. The best formula I've ever encountered in a highlighter, its gorgeous on and once on, it lasts > 10 hours. I keep one in use and a backup!

Listen, Modern Mercury is my all-time favorite highlighter. I'll drop a dime on what I really want, but I wouldn't spend $300 for it.
There are so many really nice highlighters that came after MM. Just sayin'.

Listen, Modern Mercury is my all-time favorite highlighter. I'll drop a dime on what I really want, but I wouldn't spend $300 for it.
There are so many really nice highlighters that came after MM. Just sayin'.

I'm not enamored by the eyeball packaging but I do like the product so far. The highlighter has a cream to powder vibe. Once I swatched it with a brush, i ran my finger over it and it didn't budge. I didn't swatch the powder, which is lovely because that was already done up thread a bit. Swatch #1 is EL Heatwave. Swatch # 2 is the Iridescent Ball highlighter. SAME color, different finish. I'm really liking it swatched. I'll test both items on my face for date night, tonight. The brush is enormous---very dense and very soft. It's performance and how it holds up to frequent washing remains to be seen.

I almost forgot to note that next to modern Mercury, IB really looks more like HW and MM appears pinker.

I just went to Sephora to see if they had the MUFE duo or the EL line in person...
it took like a half hour to find someone to help me, they were so rude they had no idea what i was talking about and said that they just didnt carry it if i didn't see it out...

then on my way out I saw the Tony Moly peach lip balm and I want that so bad, but it was just the tester.. another 10 minutes to find someone to tell me they don't know if they have more, so I just left.. U can't even check your under stock? never going back to that store again.

Ugh as someone who has worked in retail, I hate crappy customer service. I would complain and if you don't get a resolution to your satisfaction escalate. We've already seen what can happen when we voice our grievances. I would also like to encourage you to do the same when you get great customer service. Take the time out to make sure that sales person is recognized. Sometimes they hear so many complaints that when they hear something good it stand out. I really hope you find what you are looking for. I sent you a PM.

I was gonna buy the peach lip balm last week! It's in the section with all the trial sizes where the line is in my sephora. I haven't tried any lip balms from them yet tho! I've heard good thing. Do you have the original?

The peach one smells amazing! They also have been showing at at Urban Outfitters here.
