I got my TF order & got to try out the Primer. All I could think of was Haven's description of how it smelled
lol.gif
Yes, it doesn't smell good. It made my skin look even & slightly illuminated. It was nice but I can't say that I'm overly wowed by it. My makeup did go on very nicely over it.

I also got Cocoa Mirage quad & Blush Nude lipstick which I LOVE LOVE both! Blush Nude is a very light nude peachy slight pink shade on me.

Yes, that is me with my goofy Newfies that are Landseer's. In the US they are grouped with Newfoundlands. In other countries they are a breed apart from the Newfie's. Have two more dogs, A Black Russian Terrier from Latvia, a insane Weimie, and my 2 Havana Brown cats. Posted my actual pic, since it has become too confusing with some newbies or it could oldies who were using the lips pic. My head is buried in my dogs, fur, I can't see any other lines of makeup!!!!!
Just super cute-----you and them!!!

Oh no on the smell of the primer----what's up with that? Something that close to one's nose should be odorless or
at best, lightly scented in a pleasant way!!

Glad you're loving Cocoa Mirage---one of my TF favs. Blush Nude sounds really pretty.

It's a weird smell but I didn't notice it once it was on my face.

CM is just beautiful & the pigmentation is divine!

Last swatches before I crash. I think Ripe Plum has gotten a lot of representation here but I'll post my swatches in case anyone needs more. Again there's a video swatch on my instagram if you want to see live swatches. First three swatched dry, last three wet.
same name on IG? on my phone so forgive me if it says somewhere I can't see - I'm same name btw!

Two of the lipliners went rather brown, and the other peach. Neither really works well for my coloring. The nude lipsticks had a winner or two in the bunch--the new line of creamy opaques are really, really opaque!  Similar to the vibe of Nars Audacious.  I agree with these it's best to see them in person first.  They hit my local Sephora about 2-3 weeks ago, so they should be around if you get a chance to get to one.
just got a recommendation on a lip liner, the brand is number 7 in nude, it's sold at target for $7, may want to give it a go and they had 2 other shades too! xx

Beautiful! And welcome.

The long post with lots of pics is much appreciated. @Medgal07  I am loving the look you did too! So far I am not faring as well with my plum duo. I'm not having any problems getting pigment, just finding that it is really accentuating the crepey-ness of my eyelids. :sigh:  I'll have to play around with different primers and see if that makes any difference for me. Another nice review of the Spring 2015 cream shadow: http://bubblymichelle.com/2015/02/2...cream-colour-for-eyes-review-photos-swatches/
love her reviews, if not listed I'll ask her for a play by play - she tends to do the most natural looks possible - so far on the mascara I've heard best results have come from a white primer under - I have raven + ultra raven and they are very wet and can almost feel heavy if you apply too much - I will do my best to find dupes at target/cvs and see what I can come up with!!

Aww beautiful dogs! That's a very sweet picture. I don't believe I've ever known anyone personally who had a Newfoundland/Landseer. You have some very unique breeds! And are there any Weimaraners that arent a bit...umm...high strung? LOL. Love them too though. Thanks for sharing!

Has anyone used the TF Sahara Dusk finishing powder? I'd like to try it but I see there is Bismuth Oxychloride in it.
I have it and I have had no issues with it at all but I find I usually grab my les beiges, metorites or MJ white powder more so I would not repurchase - I had ordered the illuminating powder and they sent by mistake actually, I just went with the flow as it looked quite pretty! I still am quite confused by TF illuminating powder as some say it's best ever and others say it does nothing, anyone have it? I ️ a mixture of TF's new foundation (in face primer packaging) and CT's wonder glow as it gives the perfect glow for me, it's a HG for me plus I don't use foundation every day so it will last forever + I use 4 tiny drops of TF plus 2 CT glow drops straight on a brush, pat it around face then blend and it stays on in 90 degree heat and all day - if no foundation, I just use C les beiges + G bronzer...my new baby is MJ contour in 60 which is so natural, I ️ it!
I need everything! can't wait for summer! I may skip the Lippies depending on how they look, I have 7 of the 8 from last year and not happy as the caps do not stay on! hope they fixed that as I don't need to ruin any bags! ha!

love that lippie too! I need CM but I'm always looking at new releases so I forget about what a great quad that is! thanks for any update on CTs beach tints! I love my TF ones from summer of 2013 I think it was?!? the Amber is stunning and Gulit barley shows, I went back and forth on returning but my addiction got the best of me thus I kept it - need to pull Gulit out and see what I can do with it!! another thought about ripe plum - nars just came out with a paint pot, looks close to Essie np color, ballet slippers - could look pretty under it, just a thought! was thinking it could make the duo very spring-ish....if anyone has picked up would love to know!! the nars peach single looks TDF but I thought it was close enough to TF nude dip peach to not have more e/s, esp when my weakness is more so bronzers, blush + lippies! I may also try the burnish Amber quad with ripe plum and see what happens!! need to pick up raw jade, on top of list! I ️ both new np's, had no problems with wear or colors - have every single LE np TF has done so no way I could pass anyway! hah! i did however use nail inc top coat and that is amazing, blows away dior + Chanel IMO! after picking up a few nails inc, I'm obsessed! xx

:wavey: Hi there MrsB.  I'm wearing Ripe Plum.  I primed w/ UDPP-anti-aging formula.  I then put MAC Ardent cream shadow on my lid and then RP.  I sheered & blended RP up to the transition area where there is only UDPP and that area still looks good as well. I just checked and I don't have any fading.   Here's a pic I just took after having RP on fro several hours.  I looks more burgundy IRL.
beautiful! I'm going to try tomorrow with a cream shadow base. I believe I have Givenchy Khaki. I can try that with RJ. Fingers crossed.
