I was thinking the same thing. And some people didn't like the formula on Liam so maybe Erik will be better?
I'm all over the place with these lol Think I'll start with just one. Here's a link to some really nice lip swatches http://www.misslipgloss.nl/nieuwe-chanel-rouge-coco/
I agree. They are slightly shiny but unlike the RCS, these eventually 'set'. They feel slippery when swatched and on initial application but I wore Suzanne yesterday for a couple hours and it set. I ended up buying only Suzanne for now, it is a flattering rosy neutral on my NC20 Asian skin.Yesterday I finally got to play with the new Rouge Coco lipsticks at the counter. Only 24 of them made it to my country (among others Ina had to stay at the border). As always with Chanel most of the colors are on the warmer side - polite, easy-to-wear shades that'll serve most as good basics, I guess. I searched in vain for a cool neutral. I wasn't in the mood for Dimitri or Jean so I ended up with Vera. It's still a little too warm for me now, but it'll probably work well in the summer.
I have read many bloggers who describe these new Cocos as (too) close to Coco Shine in texture. That is not my impression. Vera is more creamy and feels lighter on the lips than the "old" Cocos did, but it's far better pigmented and far less shiny than the Coco Shines I have in similar colors.
I am a little disappointed by the lack of cooler shades. Cecile might work for me too, but I already own slightly cooler version of that shade from Dior. Well, probably Chanel are going to release a lot of new shades of this lipstick soon, and if not, I'll save a lot a money.
Thank you for posting! I wonder where Cecile had gone.http://www.weekendramblings.com/2015/03/chanel-rouge-coco-lipsticks-swatches-makeup.html?m=1
Hi I didn't even notice, I was so focused on Erik, Jean, Julia, Adrienne, Antoinette and Suzanne lol Here is Cecile, but on different complexions, though http://lipglossleslie.blogspot.com/2015/02/chanel-rouge-coco-in-cecile-review.html?m=1 http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-olga-cecile-suzanne-rouge-coco-lipsticks-reviews-photos-swatchesThank you for posting! Thank you! I think it looks suspiciously warm on both. Maybe it's not for me after all.http://www.temptalia.com/chanel-olga-cecile-suzanne-rouge-coco-lipsticks-reviews-photos-swatches
These are great swatches AWS---you always find us the good ones!!! These solidify my original list. So far I'vehttp://www.weekendramblings.com/2015/03/chanel-rouge-coco-lipsticks-swatches-makeup.html?m=1
I love hearing this!!! Thanks FF. I'm glad you'r loving Arthur!!!Got Arthur today, it's a wonderful color. Red, orange and a slight hint of pink, very unique. I like that it's on the sheerer side, since I have enough opaque, strong reds. This one is so wearable!
Aw! At least they're not LE so you can take your time and decide for sure.Thank you! I think it looks suspiciously warm on both. Maybe it's not for me after all.
Thanks ;-) Arthur is lovely. Some of them look like they cling to dry lip flakes :-/ I've ordered Antoinette... for science! Amazing job---thank you!!! You would have needed to use all four limbs and perhaps your back to haveHello ladies! I swatched nearly all of the colors at my counter today. They had the testers in at The Bay, for Canadian ladies they launch next week. I didn't have time to write the names, only the numbers. Maggy was missing - that was the shade I wanted to see in person but for some reason, they never even got the tester in O_O. I tried to take it in brighter and dimmer lighting settings.
Hope these were helpful! Some shades were patchier on first swipe than others. The new Mademoiselle is 439 - it seems less brown than I remember and more pink. Many bright colors!
I like your 3 picks!!! I'm thinking I'll narrow it down by color/color-family for a fair representation. I like orange, so perhaps Coco will be next for me and then maybeI've avoided this launch so far simply because I've bought so much lipstick over the past 6 months (hi, almost all of the NARS Audacious).
I've been eyeing Arthur, Marie, and Roussy. I received one of the sample cards from a SA, so I can try 2 of the 3 prior to purchasing.
Any others that should be on my radar?
I can't wait to see Antoinette on you..... for science!

Julia, Roussy and/or Edith.

lol Coco is my kinda colour. I like the idea of a shade like that in the RC formula.:haha: I can't wait to see Antoinette on you..... for science! I like your 3 picks!!!
