I wanted Royal Ball, but it was sold out and removed out of my cart. I bought Free as a Butterfly out of grief. Is Free as a Butterfly worth it?

Woo, I took the long ride down to my MAC and picked up the palette, both cheek products and Royal Ball! I kind of regret Royal Ball, it definitely doesn't look good on me!

Are MAC stores not allowed to sell items over the phone? I called a store to purchase an item ( Im in a different state) and they told me no?... Im a little confused has anyone dealt with this before?...

Hmmm is it worth my getting Coupe D Chic? I don't want it for the packaging, just the product itself but I really am seeing mixed reviews which is making me think hmmm shall I or not! I'm a nc15!
I think its worth it :) its beautiful I used it as blush and put a little bit of cheeky bugger on top. Looked so pretty. It is stiff but once you work a brush in there you can pick up some product.
This is super random, but has anyone compared lightscapade msf to mystery princess???? I dunno why but in my head they might be similar?
I will swatch them side by side in a little bit for you
Thanks for swatches I have summer opal Love it Has coupe de chic got more glitter in Sorry have tried to catch up on this thread Sorry if been mentioned before The last colour looks really nice x
I'd say it has more chunky glitter yes.

Each store usually sets their own policy. Some of them don't do phone orders for popular LE collections.

There were so many stores in CA not taking phone orders and making up certain rules. One SA told me they don't do any phone orders period, LOL. I had just ordered from that location weeks ago. But, there are plenty of other states to shop from. I'm glad I scored the eye glosses because I want to change the formula before using them.

Yeah I dont know what the rules were, figured I would ask you guys, since I've ordered over the phone from previous collections when I couldnt find something locally and they were happy to get my business. Its really frustrating when there isnt a policy, they tell you to call back then say no. How would you change the formula, Im curious :) ?

Don't waste your time if you want specific LE items. Just call around the nation and keep a log of all of the best SAs that work well with you. I'm more of an online shopper, but I always keep a log of my favorite associates. I miss the old days where I could pre-order multiple collections at a time. I used to be a major MAC LE collector.

I was the second person in line this morning - they let people in five at a time. I overheard one SA on the phone saying they're not doing send sales until tomorrow. In-store purchases were limited to one per item. Good thing I covered my bases and ordered during the restock this morning.

They did a restock on MAC's US website and the lip glasses are still available as I type so maybe you can grab one (or two) of those if they were on your list!
I really wanted the palette, royal ball and the iridescent powder. I'm still going to get a lipglass so I don't feel left out though. Haha

I didn't know the new rules either and they're even inconsistent within the same store. So, always ask to speak with a manager to confirm their rules. I'm not sure if these are going to be hit or miss ideas. I've never seen the previous version of the eye gloss from MAC. But, I imagine if you mix a little of the clear eye gloss that comes in a tube from the Pro store with a bit of the Studio Eye Gloss, we would get more of a silicone feel instead of a tacky feel. I'll post more ideas when I receive my product. I have a ton of ideas to get this to apply comfortably without our falsies getting waxed off

I'm sad you missed it. Royal Ball was there for a while too :( I had the powder in my cart for a while before it was gone. I just decided not to get it since I ordered SO by phone this morning. Hopefully that pans out!

LOL !!!! You are too funny, yeah the eye gloss is NO joke when it comes to tackyness, got a chance to play with it in store. I have to say the MULTIDIMENSIONALshimmer in them IS BEAUTIFUL- I was in awe honestly. I think these will be best for photoshoots, editorial type imagery- day to day it would be very very difficult to upkeep. I got one for myself too.

Im not new to MAC, I've been shopping around with the brand since '05- and yeah there is a fair amount of inconsistencies. Its frustrating and I wish the policy was standard so people knew what to expect. Guess I wont get my pretties :(
