I'm relatively new to MAC, and this might already be a question that's already been answered somewhere on here, but will they be doing another restock for the Cinderella Collection online for the U.S.? I completely spaced that yesterday was the day, and I was really hoping to get RB and the palette

Im assuming only Mac knows that, I havent seen anything atleast. It's usually random if they even decide to restock.

Im hoping for a restock as well.. my mom never saw coup d'chic when she went to pick up my stuff and when I showed it to her she really wanted one for herself.

A LOT of MAC counters at Macys sold out of merchandise so fast because they were given VERY limited stock. When I looked at many of the regional quantity reports, I was perplexed by the numbers. The high traffic locations received larger quantities, cities in (NY, FL, TX, CA and NV).

Sorry if I offend someone but what the hell is wrong with some people? I stopped by my store today to get an extra RB for mom (I got my stuff last week) and there was already a long line for both Bao Bao and Cinderella. I wasn't too worried because my store usually gets decent stock but most of the women in front of me didn't even know what they wanted. Some didn't even know the names of the items and others couldn't make up their mind. Maybe is the makeup addict in me but I like to do my research before launches, any other day I don't mind it but with a collection as hectic as this... common people...anyway I did manage to get my mom's lipstick :)
Oh trust me, there was a line for the release yesterday where I was too. I was second in line but once they let us in, the SA asked what everyone wanted.... the girl in front didn't say anything so I threw up my hands and said I know exactly what I want and I was the first one out of there. I don't mind swatching to make sure you know what you want, I guess i'm just way too obsessed with make up that I research like crazy before pulling the trigger!

I sometimes wish that MAC would produce 10x more. They must have known that this one would sell out fast. I get that calling things limited does work it's magic on people (like me). But they could make so much more profit and everybody would be happy.

That's a tough one. You can probably bet that a good percentage are resellers, and then there are those like me, who are tying to fulfill CPs. It's helpful to know how much I can buy, because if it's not enough to cover what's on my list, I'm planning my next course of action. With launches like these, SAs are busy and so am I, so I like to get in and get out and keep it moving. Consider yourself having a leg up then, because you can walk right in and have an SA pull exactly what you need. That's what I did this morning: had my list ready of the must-haves, beelined for one of my regular SAs who was working, and handed him my list. He pulled and set those items for me at the register and I continued to look around for any possible items I wanted to add.
Oh trust me, there was a line for the release yesterday where I was too. that's what I do when I buy several things from a collection too, although I usually buy online. The MA's that were working there yesterday morning didn't give us that option though. They passed out numbers written on a sticky note and we had to wait our turn one by one. I get that maybe you're unsure about a product or two especially with a collection as fair as this one....but standing there not knowing what you want and or the product names? Embarrassing for you and a waste of time for some of us in line.

Sure it would be convenient if people would make a list, but I don't think you have to. I know I was overwhelmed the first time a went to a mac store. Suddenly everything was pretty... and sometimes I still don't know what to choose... prepared or not.

How long have you ladies kept unopened lipglass? I got three happily ever after because I love it over light pink or nude. It was very unique because of the blue and teal sparkle.

Chances are that they were not MAC addicts but just people who heard about the collections and decided to pick up anything from them. Still if you are going to plunk down $$$ for some make up, you should make sure that you know what you are buying. You may not be able to swatch items beforehand but at least learn the names of them. Your store should have had a separate line for people who knew the names of what they wanted.

Even though I was the first person through the door yesterday Pretty it up was sold out. I ran to Macy's only to find the same thing. The SA told me that Disney puts limits on the number of items that can be sold. I just gave her the side eye and kept on pushing. Why wouldn't Disney or MAC want as much as they can make? Sounds like bull to me. I'm sure they got limited quantities but I'm sure there is a SA or two that have pigments. Oh well. I'm going to just be happy with MUG Utopia.

Went to check out the collections in person and my views: For me I prefer Glass Slipper over HEA lipglass. I like the pink sparkle more than the blue. I'm sure both will look great on. Royal Ball is pretty swatched on me. I like it more than FAAB on my skin. The powders don't compliment my skin tone at all. Much prefer BBW's SO powder (gorg btw!) Those eye glosses are actually hot. I went in thinking I'd like the Slightly Taupe more but I actually prefer the Pearl Varnish. Though settled on my skin and depending on the lighting they are actually looking similar now. They were both sold out at 5th Ave which after the not so hot reviews I wasn't expecting. They had one Royal Ball left. From this collection I have Royal Ball and both lipglasses coming and FAAB in my purse. I'll see if the swatch pic comes out nice and put it up. Edit: I can't even lie. Looking at the swatches now on my hand here at work, the lipglasses and eye glosses all look the same. The only difference is the Happily Ever After lipglass has blue glitter, Slighty Tauped and Glass Slipper both have pink (Taupe really does have a slight taupe undertone, slight) and Pearl Varnish looks like a mix of both pink and blue glitter. They all even feel the same. If anything the eye glosses may be a tad more tacky. I mean a tad. So put your Cinderella lipglasses on your eyes :p Heck people have been using the original clear lipglass for that for years, lmao! Okay for hygienic/safety reasons maybe not but you get what I'm saying.
700
(taken in artificial light in the MAC store. From the top: Royal Ball, under it is Slightly Tauped, left of that is Pearl Varnish. Smaller swatches to the right of RB are, top: Glass Slipper, under it, HEA. Below is the BBW Collection so ignore, lol)

It launched online last week Thursday and in stores yesterday but they also re-stocked online yesterday too. Which I believe is rare. So I'm not sure that they'll do another... :(

I've got glosses 5+ yrs old and they're still good as new (as I've found as i open new tubes). But, this is back when glosses weren't rancid from the start or turning rancid shortly after opening them. Not sure about how the newer glosses of today would fair.

Now you say UD, they're having a 20% off friends and family sale at the moment and Nordstrom is also price matching their UD products.
I got the email from them about it, but I just spent so much on MAC I was staying away before I bought! But I do need lipliners to go with RB.... Thanks for the reminder! And I don't know if Ebates does UD, but the other day Nordstrom was up at 8% back. It changes though, it seems daily.

I love UD's 24/7 Velvet Glide eye pencils.I was thinking of trying a lip one. 6% for Nordie today on Ebates. No UD with them.
