here is link to the deborah Lippmann gel bottom + top coat I mentioned before, it comes in 2 sizes, the smaller set is $24 - I have not read the reviews there but it came highly recommended to me - was told could make any polish dry in 2 mins and last for 2 weeks, may be worth a shot for those that love the colors that are having issues! I love nails inc and I think they have a similar set but I'm not sure how it works!! Hi there, new kid here. I've been lurking on this thread for a few days, watching the release unfold. I tried to track down a LJ for myself, and struck out, but I've absolutely loved seeing what everyone else has been able to snag. Two local MAC stores gave me a bit of a runaround, and at a certain point I had to remind myself that "it's just lipstick," which we all know is a lie.... it's never JUST lipstick.  Anyway, just wanted to pop in, say hello, and thank you all for making this launch more fun.

For some odd reason my Burmese Kiss and Lavender Jade are very different heights. It appears as though BK wasn't pushed down far enough in the tube. I've never seen a lipstick from MAC poke out the top when turned all the way down. Oh well, more product to use I guess! it doesn't feel loose or anything, so I'm not too concerned, is anyone else's like this?

I missed Lavendar Jade as each counter in my local mac stores only got like erm 3 pcs each. :X

So i decided to try out the tip which someone shared earlier with fascinating eye kohl as base base lip color and heroine lipstick over. And I think i m happy with the color... so i m not so sad that i missed lavendar jade

I finally got Burmese Kiss. A Specktra friend caught the Mac restock yesterday and ordered it for me. She is such a sweethert. I did not even know that she had done it until I got off of work.Specktra is awesome.

I just got my email saying my BBW items shipped!! ALL OF THEM!!! YES!! Nordstroms came thru this time. That was a bit shocking because I didn't think it would go thru but I am soooo happy right now! The haul included SO, IG and KB. RB should be arriving sometime today. I think this is the first time I won't jump to try on a lipstick as soon as it arrives because I would rather wait for all the items to come in before I try it out.
