I feel your pain. I am not much farther than you from re-qualifying. I am just glad that I have not ALREADY re-qualified, like I did in February of 2014. I was so embarrassed, my mom and me at the register, and they made such a huge deal about making Rouge again. My mom had no idea what it was and was all confused and the SA TOLD HER WHAT IT WAS! You know I had words for her, right? I mean, aren't there privacy laws in makeup (j/k, but maybe there should be some training about being discreet at a dang cash register lol)

Oh my god guys....  I love this.. so much. I put it on without makeup and it seemed too dark for a highlight, but I think on top of my blush it will glow. I'll try it tomorrow @_@ omg I love this.. I kinda wanna use it as a shadow lol On the other hand.. wth Estee Lauder.... there's like nothing showing up on me . :/

LMAO. This happened to me too, and I had to later 'explain' (or lie I guess) that technically Rouge is $1000 a year, but there are special days when items earn double, triple or even quadruple the dollar amounts. Lol. I think they bought it..

I'm wondering if it looks like that because it's basically the same shade as your skin. I feel this may be more geared towards darker skin tones because clearly, it's not showing up on you. So sad. And we were all so excited.

Probably, but the sheen or reflection should still show up... idk if that makes sense...
Maybe someone lighter or darker... but it is pretty sad for everyone in the middle I guess :/

Seriously when I worked in store I tried to keep it on the DL when people had a lot of points, because when I shop I don't want them to scream.
Every time I shop they just yell it out, I just look at them like.. "girl.. I know... -.-" They act like it's a surprise for me or something.. I know what I did lmao, don't yell it to the store.



The EL one showed up decently on my face, I can work with it but it's not as fab as the older gelees. That was kinda lame.. but it does look okay...

Sounds like my bf. On the odd occasion we are at the mall together and I try to shake him for a bit so I can hit Sephora and not leave him bored, he always wants to come, but then just kind of stands there shellshocked by all the products. I'm sure he doesn't really grasp the points system as I have to coach him through using points cards at the grocery and drug stores too.

That's too bad. I was hoping they didn't tamper with the formula because their's was the best. I'm trying to be positive none the less because I have one coming my way.

I'm ok with it. I feel bad for people expecting the same Gelee formula, but I think it's a nice option for people wanting a more subdued, subtle highlight. It is definitely a disappointment if you were wanting the metallic power of the original Gelees (what's the plural on that?

).

Haha same here! I never get the 500 points rewards because they're always lame. The last rewards I redeemed were the new Dolce by DG perfume sample in like January and then the Soap & Glory Vitamin C face wash sample because I've wanted to try that for awhile.
