Okay so, my mom complimented my makeup today.
She said that I look like I'm glowing.. lol! Wearing the EL new gelee, so I guess it does look nice! ooops!
She never says anything about my makeup, just my eyes when I do a dramatic liner (she loves that) so this is a surprise that she noticed!

I finally went to sephora to swatch the MJ contour palettes. I love the yellow in 40, but I think I'm going to go with 60. The powders are like satin/velvet/cream lol I haven't been interested in much this year

  Seriously when I worked in store I tried to keep it on the DL when people had a lot of points, because when I shop I don't want them to scream. Every time I shop they just yell it out, I just look at them like.. "girl.. I know... -.-" They act like it's a surprise for me or something.. I know what I did lmao, don't yell it to the store. The EL one showed up decently on my face, I can work with it but it's not as fab as the older gelees. That was kinda lame.. but it does look okay...  I wanna try this so bad! let me know what u think !!

YES! I don't need a SA announcing my point info practically over the PA system. 

Doesn't anyone know what discretion is anymore? Loudly announcing your available points is almost akin to announcing how much your purchase total is (for a large amount) or what you have in your bank account. You just don't put someone's business out there like that.

sooooo today i was able to dibble n dab in some goodies:

-Becca Eye brightener: i love creamy under eye products and this blended really well. i started with a thin layer and built it up as needed, used amazing cosm concealer on top then set w/nars loose powder! so far so good. i'll incorporate this more often but first impression i like it.

-just now gettin around to using the marsala liner **le sigh** it's a nice accent color on the lid i guess but the jury is out if it'll get returned (aka swapped) i'd prefer to NOT pay full price for this liner!

-kvd lolita (last restock) perfect everyday nude color so i can understand the hype of this lippie and i used TF pink guilt on top lined w/mac strip down (best natural liner ever)

-im still enjoying this MJ contour duo w/the brush ooooomg!!! im wondering WHY i even have kvd contour palette at this point

and drumroll.....

this highlighter is soooooo gorgeous!! i got the box today and KNEW i couldn't resist not puttin it on. i dnt have anything like this in my stash (that i can think of...maybe an estee lauder i found in a CCO but cant remember the name). it's hard capturing the beauty in this compact...like seriously...GRAB THIS SHYT ASAP!!! im thinkin it'll accompany me next week while i lounge on the beaches of the bahamas n let the sun hit my cheeks juuuuuust right.

P.S. im also on IG: kisham126 cuz i randomly post makeup goodies there too but i prefer to save my hauls n makeup talk for specktra!! i hate to seem like im braggin on my makeup buys and u know how people are

how does this compare to the MUFE highlighter/"coutour" aka bronzer you were convincing me to get last week? i was thinking of getting that for my beachy glow look but i think i only need one at this point and i know you have both LOL! i know they are two different things, but which do you like better?

i want both but i KNOW i shouldnt...

I'm ok with it. I feel bad for people expecting the same Gelee formula, but I think it's a nice option for people wanting a more subdued, subtle highlight. It is definitely a disappointment if you were wanting the metallic power of the original Gelees (what's the plural on that?

).

Although I would have preferred the formula of old, I'm sure being the highlighter addict that I am, I'll be ok with it. I only have one back each of MM & HW so I'll be using
my other highlighters more often now.

I also compared the BC to EL Topaz Chameleon and EL Shimmering Sands and was so happy BC is completely unique!!! In addition to the color, I love how soft the
formula is!!!

dont get both!! im gonna wear the MUFE tomorrow to make my final verdict on it being a keeper. the mufe highlight is goooorgeous of course which was the main reason i was gonna keep it BUT its a dupe for WOG (which i already got)

i'll post some MUFE pics tomorrow but i would definitely grab this blush copper joint cuz its like nothing i have!

I have nothing like either! Was about to get both hahaha. The MUFE golden highlighter is soooo pretty though my goodness.

edit: whoops somehow the becca highlighter got in my cart and somehow i hit purchase

i have no recollection of this.... or so i will tell myself. its not available near me so i need to see it in person to make a decision, right??

will check out MUFE in store and see if i need it. mostly wanted the highlighter
