Someone really needs to pry the stroke of midnight palette out of my hands! I cannot stop using it, it's so perfect. I keep using satin taupe on a 219 as a liner ugh so beautiful! How have I gone so many years without that color! I also love how the stroke of midnight color isn't so intense. Sometimes for example blackheart in the naked 3 palette if you just lightly dip your brush in SO MUCH INTENSE COLOR PAY OFF right away. I like that you can keep it super soft or build with the the dark color. Love!
Hey I'm glad your liking it then I'm glad it's working for you I missed it first time as didn't think I wanted it lol I try n get itv But if not no loss as I rather have abit more tom ford oh yes summer 2015 Coll Looks well nice Love abit of tom ford me

Just got my confirmation email through, then another which shows Stroke Of Midnight as 'backordered'. I guess that means I won't be getting it after all. That's the first time I've had 'backordered' on an email from them.

So thinking of getting this gel kit on HSN, it's $60. I'd save on manicures, lmao! http://www.hsn.com/products/red-carpet-manicure-led-gel-polish-cinderella-kit/7613982
Thanks for posting the HSN link. I think I might get it, but I've never done a gel nail polish manicure. I purchased the Incoco gel set (got it on sale from $119 to $39) because it's only two steps, but I still haven't tried it. It sounds like it takes forever to do a gel manicure so I'm hesitant. Isn't it several steps of painting and curing and painting and curing? But it's Cinderella so it's tempting me...

Really? I just got a gel manicure over acrylic tips and all I saw her do was the polish then the top coat. I believe in between each step I put each hand under the led. That was it and no drying time. HALLELUJAH! That alone got me. And I believe they charge $22 for a gel manicure at my place.

Does it make your nails stronger? I used to be very lucky because my nails were long and strong, but because I now have Vitamin B and iron deficiency, my nails have developed horrible ridges and have been splitting vertically. I have to keep them well over the tips of my fingers so I can use nail glue on them because if I cut them short they still split, but then they bleed. The Incoco polish strips help bond the splits together better than nail polish, but I wondered if the gel nail polish makes them harder and will bond them even better? The infusions and shots will eventually turn my nails back to normal but not soon enough! And the kit is Cinderella.... LOL

And the kit is Cinderella.... LOL
It does exactly the opposite, it's very damaging, especially the removal process. But I'm talking about the gels they put in a salon, I'm not sure if the ones for home use are the same but I suppose they are. I hope you get better soon and then your nails will recover too.
I'm also blessed with long and strong nails, I've been asked thousands of times, if they are real.

Thank you! I used to get asked all the time if my nails were real or fake. People I didn't even know would grab my hands and turn them over to see the underside of my nails to see if I had acrylics. I did have them in the 90's when I was really young, but my nails just got better and better as I got older. Until recently. Anemia sucks.

I just went to the MAC Facebook page to see if they were posting anything about this collection, and good lord it was just page after page of comments of really angry people, plus all the comments under each of their posts!! There were hundreds of posts just through March 6th. I couldn't even get near today's date! I read one that ticked me off royally. No pun intended. This one rude girl (I'm guessing a teen by her petty little attitude) commented how all the people complaining were idiots, and if they were real MAC fans they would have known the collection was released last month on Nordstrom and Bloomies (two stores where it wasn't released) and how people would know this if they just did a little research by going to Temptalia (whom had the correct date, not a date from last month) or onto a site called Trendsmood. So I go to this site and from what I can tell this site is for professionals or something. To sign up you needed to list a VAT Identification number and your company. It was mandatory. Anyone heard of this site? What is it? It just made me mad. Who the heck was she to call anyone stupid or dumb (or whatever word she used) because people were angry they couldn't get anything from the collection?? That they weren't real MACheads??

She means trendmood.... basically a site formed from a IG of an individual who just used to gather information from other sources and post as though it was their own information. There is bad blood between TM and Specktra lol.

Thank you so much for the information. But what the heck is a VAT identification number? And is it me? Did I overreact? I was very lucky and mostly got what I wanted from the collection, but I felt horrible that so many people missed out. But this girl made fun of them!

VAT stands for value added tax and it's like a fixed sales tax. In Europe and here in the Caribbean (and probably other places) the VAT/sales tax is the same across the board so it's included in the price of an item from the get go. Retailers are required to register with the tax authorities so that when they collect the VAT, they correctly pass on the tax they collect to the proper authorities. I'm not sure what the trendsmood site is about but that's what the VAT Id number is.

Although, we know makeup is just makeup, if you're passionate about something, you will be upset. Some people take it too far of course but most of what I've seen, it's customers trying to let MAC know that their business practices are just plain wrong. With the wealth of knowledge circulated on specktra, we know that not even MAC internally knows what's going on (MAC chat, MAC instore SAs, etc.) so that girl is just a douchebag in my opinion.
