I only have one pair of Chanels. They are classic big black ones with the silver cc's at the temples.

We need to pace ourselves. Dior is coming out 5/1 in stores, Chanel will be in mid April, YSL around the same time. Ironic TF is shipping the day some of use have to send out our check for taxes, or at least file an extension for taxes....

Some of us have a healthy makeup budget that we pay into even if we're not buying anything. No issues about pacing then.

if not, this is a great idea to start!
It helps to have a healthy amount of discretionary funds, to be honest.

I budget makeup like it's another entertainment expense- it's a hobby, so it is art and entertainment for me! Every pay period, I set a healthy makeup budget aside. I haven't had to use a credit card (aside from online purchases, but I pay that off once I receive the item) that I didn't pay off in a couple of days in about 2 years when it comes to makeup spending.

This is an expensive habit that adds up fast- by doing it this way, 0 guilt about spending funds I've already budgeted. This system works for me, but YMMV. It's all about finding balance. For instance, I don't go to bars like I did as a grad student, so beer money has partially become beauty money!

I do this as well, especially coming up to the end of year with all the holiday gift sets and Black Friday and Thanksgiving sales.

I don't have any sunglasses lol For where I live perhaps I should. I think Saks has $50 off $250+ designer sunglasses but I was really checking for something else so I can't be sure.
