MAC X Cinderella Collection (March 5, 2015)

Julia Petit just went up on Mac.com if anyone is interested. You have to look under each kind of makeup instead of under collections. I just got a lipstick in Boca and the Lipglass. Wasn't really interested in anything else from the collection. No Cindy restock. Edit: She's now under the collections page too.

After seeing the movie I still love the collection but they really could have done 4 lipsticks and two eyeshadow palettes. Cate Blanchetts makeup was on point and so was the fairy god mother. I would have loved a marsala hue similar to cinderellas lip color maybe in a satin finish. Pretty makeup looks in the movie none the less.

Cate wore MAC Russian Red in the movie. Cinderella's lip color at the ball was done with a traditional Berber lip stain made from poppies and pomegranate (comes on a little terracotta lid-looking thing).

That's lovely on you! RB was the one thing from this collection I'm bummed I missed. But it makes me happy to see so many ladies looking so pretty wearing it!

It's nothing to write home about, trust me. It's the fact that it's Cinderella is why I got it.

Yeah... it's the sort of color I'm drawn to, but I'm sure I have something like it in my bins. That's what has kept me from paying more than double on eBay.

Cinderella's eye shadow at the ball was topped with MAC Antique Gold glitter. Candy Yum Yum and Morange were used on the stepsisters (they were blended with other colors, but I don't recall what those were).  Cate wore MAC Russian Red in the movie. Did everyone go to the article posted on here a few days ago? The makeup artist for the movie described everything she used on Cinderella, Cate Blanchette and the sisters. There were a lot of MAC items, but nothing from the collection except the glitter on Cinderella. It was a great article.

I'm so upset guys. It looks like my Free as a Butterfly is lost. It was supposed to be here Monday. The seller is very nice with 100% feedback, and I know she will refund my money so that's not an issue (the complete and total incompetence of the USPS is the issue) but I don't know if I should buy another. The stupid USPS won't even start looking for it until Monday and by then prices could double. I was lucky to get what I did of the collection (eye palette, coupe, fluid line, lipglasses) from Mac itself, but couldn't get the two lipsticks, so I had to order them from ebay. RB was in my hands in a few days, but I ordered FAAB on March 9 and I still haven't received it obviously. USPS has no further tracking information past March 11! Should I just consider it lost and order another before prices go up even more? Help please!!!

After almost ripping my eyelids off from Lightly Tauped, I'm a little confused... is it Glu?... Lipglass?.... A substance meant to keep your eyes open for torcher purposes? LOL How do you use this stuff! My gosh it's STICKY!!

I feel less sticky when pat eye shadow on it. Not sure if that helps.

Yeah, I don't quite like that stickiness too. That is the only thing I bought from this collection and for the packaging & sparkles., hoho ho.

How I wish they have something w/ glass slipper ,eg brush holder, or a key chain/ring on lipglosses like they did for hello kitty...
