I sell Younique so I'd recommend their 3D Fiber Lash mascara (it really is great) but I've been using Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes from an Ipsy glam bag and I love it. Yeah they were trying not to give guests the bags but I pointed out that the sephora invitation said that guests were also supposed to receive bag and then they gave me it. I spend enough money there. It wasn't like I was trying to scam them out of another bag!
My mom and mother in law didn't get anything. They said it's just for rouge. There's a VIB Rouge stamp on the sample bag. I just gave mine to my mom. I've never read the email though.Hi ladies! You should! I usually choose to buy items at Ulta because of their points program. I'm platinum at Ulta ($400) and VIBR at Sephora ($1000). I have about 2900 points at Ulta which equates to $160 off of a purchase. I have more points at Sephora and that equates to waiting around for mini perks good enough to redeem my points on. Per Sephora's FB team, *all* guests were supposed to get a makeup bag with samples! Now I am annoyed at my sales reps who put up such a hassle with me. They're crediting my friend 100 points, but she won't be able to get the bag. My location had two full buckets of them. I'll be going back tuesday with all of my correspondance wifh CS in hopes I can get her a bag. I remember last time there was event I was goven a second bag of samples a week or two laters because I was rouge and they still had them around and were trying to get rid of them. So I'm sure they'll still have some when I go back. I wonder why there was such a lack of communication between cooperate and select stores. Sigh! Here is their response on FB:

I used to work at Sephora years ago and there was always a lack of communication. We would receive a box of samples, but had no idea what they were for. We would have some at the registers for months until we finally just started giving them to random people. Other times someone would come in with a print out of something saying they could get a free sample of something for whatever reason and we wouldn't have those samples. I would just grab a couple empty jars and put a sample in there for them. It was frustrating so I wouldn't blame all of the staff, only some of them are bitches. I kept trying to use what I had first putting it off Meddy! Darker foundations, concealers, powders. But everything ended up looking too harsh or just not quite right. I basically gave up since I never had the need to do it anyway and looked fine, lol. Nothing I hate worse than looking like I contoured. People are taking it to another level now that I don't want to go. Watching too many YT vids! It's an epidemic!
