That's good to know. That eases me a bit! On the 21st, I'll be back in school and we only have a small MAC Dillards counter there. However, I know back home in just ONE mall we have *four* mac counters. Crazy right? I'm sure one of them would still hopefully have product less than 24hrs after launch of it's a "the big" summer collection. I could always call one of those, worst case!

I think you'll be fine. Last year, I called a MAC counter that was about 45 minutes away and they shipped what I wanted to me. I don't think this collection is in as much demand as Alluring Aquatics was. It seems like everyone is interested in the blushes more than the lippies.

this collection is so disappointing

the color story had such promise, but the actual products just don't deliver

The only item I want from this collection is Morange.Yes, I know Morange is perm but I just the packaging. SH just looks like every other red MAC has released

Hey Marsha!!! I didn't like the packaging at first, but it's really growing on me! I've bought perm items in LE packaging too, no worries SH does look very standard I don't know why MAC didn't think more outside of the box with this collection :dunno: When are they going to realize we hate the VP eyeshadow palettes??? :shock:

That's why I've given up on MAC shadows and switched to MUFE. The only MAC shadow I will always use is Uninterrupted. I can't live without it.

I've heard those palettes are quite popular among regular customers, so that might be a reason Mac won't let go of them, but yeah, I agree with you, I also don't really like them, neither the mineralize ones. Just regular small round eyeshadows for me! Edit: regular customers in comparison to us crazy makeup ladies, lol.

I only have the one VP palette and every time I use it, I have to dampen the brush. MAC needs to widen their horizon a bit

You're not alone. I'm right there with you. It seems like they could have done more with the color story. My list has gone way down.
