Seemed too good to be true. Quite a few of these new shades are the kind that sell out incredibly fast in LE collections because MAC has nothing similar in their perm range eg. If they make a colour like Men Love Mystery permanent, they won't ever be able to release a LE DG/LJ type shade with the same hype surrounding it.
unfortunately! I wish Mac could make some popular products perm and try a different strategy. Silly hypes all the time. I know one cannot really compare Mac and Chanel when it comes to the number of LEs, but I really like Chanel's approach (making some items LE and making some perm, even if they leave the perm collection some years later).
Pink Pigeon is such a lovely color! It's the first color that got me going to Mac. I saw one of my favorite bloggers wearing it. reminds me I need to get out more of my pinks.

In the book, they are listed as perm. On the website images posted, none of the lipsticks currently have a triangle (meaning LE)...sooo imo they are permanent. Still though perm, I'd treat the situation as le....pick up what you want now, better safe than sorry to have missed out. I know MAC has been tricky lately :sigh:[COLOR=6633FF]I'm so confused now. I'm recalling last years bunch were said to be all perm, then there were a couple or so which were LE but it was never clear which couple, then some of the perm did sell out at original launch and some folks had to wait for restock. Best strategy then would perhaps be to get the ones most desired treating them as LE as Dolly says. Yep that's what I'm going to do! When the Retro Matte collection came out I only had 1 MAC lipstick and even though I wanted them I didn't buy right away, when I finally decided to pick up Flat out Fabulous it took me a while to get my hands on it because all the RMs were sold out!Still though perm, I'd treat the situation as le....pick up what you want now, better safe than sorry to have missed out.
