Hm... I thought I'd skip the entire collection but now I'm interested in Fashion Force, Bare Hug and Soft Talkin'. I think I'll buy just one though to try out the formula. But which one should I choose. :eek:hboy: Leaning towards Fashion Force right now.

I've got Bare Hug and Soft Talkin' (and I'm in) on my list as well. But I neither really plan to get all three of them. I do like the formula of the one I got last year very much (I own What A Feeling), but I need to pay attention my lipstick hoarding won't get too crazy. Just purged some lippies and currently, I'm going through my stash to try out which ones are really to keep, so purchasing too many new ones would kinda mean screwing up to me. Plus, I'll only shop for them at the counter so I can try them on - in case my counter will get them. Otherwise, I'll be a little sad, but skip. Decisions can be so tough!

Fashion Force is lovely! I've been wearing that one a lot lately again. It is probably the brightest of the three you are trying to choose from. On my lips, it is a lovely creamsicle peach. Would probably look lovely with your dark hair! Decisions can be so tough though, especially if you cannot go in store to swatch them. Hopefully, more swatches/reviews will pop up soon making it easier to decide :)

I've heard so much about these being good for "older" lips that I will have to try one, at least. I will probably try a light nude since I don't like the look of many pale nudes on me anymore. I skipped these the last time and then heard so much good about them.

Absolutely! You should definitely give them a try---if you can swatch in store that is probably the best option, but you can't go wrong with the formula!

They definitely cover up a multitude of sins. Plus they're quite moisturizing too. I got quite a few from the last collection, but I definitely preferred the softer colors in the formula to the brights and jewel tones. Fresh & Frisky, Touché and Out For Passion were my favorites from the last collection. I'm In, Play It Soft and Soft Talking are probably going to be my favorites from this one. Flaming Lips and I'm Game might be nice too. Last collection, Temptalia's photos were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay the hell off, so I will make up my mind when I see the collection in person.

I skipped these last time around because I just don't like the packaging. And the diameter looks too big to depot and transfer into a standard MAC bullet. The formula sounds very nice but I'm skipping again lol. I think an assortment of smaller LE Huggable teddy bears in various colors would have suckered me in though lol

I wonder how these compare to other brands that have lip gloss/sheens in similar tubing. I'll probably buy one of each brand. Lancome just came out with something that looks similar. Estee Lauder has one has one as well.
I think someone said they reminded them of either Chantecaille or... geez the brand that always has a wildlife campaign. I ignore them b/c their foundation range isn't dark enough.

I had a look at the ingredients of some similar lipsticks that are part of the Lauder company - the Envy Shines by EL, the Bobbi Brown Sheer Lipcolor and the Huggables. They all want you to have that moisturizing feeling while giving your lips lots of shine, but each of them chose a different way to get there. The Bobbi Brown ones main ingredient is oil, so that's a lot of shine and care for your lips right there. I haven't worn them, so I can't say for sure, but I guess it would wear off as quickly as a gloss because it's mainly an oil in a lipstick form. On the other end of the spectrum we have the huggables that have a lot of polymers in them (I wrote about that in my blogpost) that form a film over your lips - much like a waterproof sunscreen. That makes them 'cling' to your lips and also makes them appear smoother. The EL Envy Shines fall somewhere in the middle - their first ingredient is some wax, but then they also have some polymers and also some oils.

I would've thought that they'd be more alike given that they belong to the same company truth to be told! In the end, Bobbi's colours always seem a bit drab, and the Envy Shines are very light, so it's the Huggables for me. Although I might get that nice Coral from the Envy Shine line up!

I've no idea how the Chantecaille and Lancome compare to the three above - we don't have Chantecaille over here, and I don't think the Lancome ones have launched yet. Next one I want to compare to the Lauder ones are the Clinique Pop thingummies (sorry, don't know their correct names and am too lazy to look it up...).
