Yes. Meddy, really dark purple.
Thanks Ernie------purple lipstick doesn't look particularly good one me. I was intrigued by it nonetheless, though.

Lolol you need Caroube. It has a ton of dimension to it surprisingly and layers well with the TF glitter shadows too! Ok well I did my best to take a picture of my eye haha, I'm not the greatest picture taker Yeah try it on your eyes because for whatever reason it doesn't show up on my face much either :( . I got the tip from Karen at make up and beauty blog here: http://www.makeupandbeautyblog.com/...-eyes-and-purple-liner-and-red-lips-and-tips/

Not the best picture, but you can kind of see it! You'll have to excuse the little hair wispies there on my face. :haha: I much prefer the bronzer on my eyes though. It really diffuses the colour of Caroube in my opinion. I love that you can pair this eye look with just about anything... Bright lips or cheeks, or even that purple stylo eyeliner which I'm thinking about getting now as well.

I like to wear it on the lid and in this photo with the TF Jade Green duo Well said, Olivine is a chameleon-- love it. I wore it with the TF Jade Duo, using the dark color as a liner, and the light color on the brow bone. Laurier Rose is stunning-- totally blown away by it, but I can't wear it at all-- terrible color for me. Bet it will be stunning on you. I am getting a lot of wear out of Orchidee as well.
The SA convinced me to buy the TF jade, I really love it on, also got Olivine cause it's such an unusual color, where did you use Olivine with the TF Jade duo? Laurier Rose is a tough color for me to use too, I can't wear it on my lid, I looked sick! So I've been using it over a brown eyeliner or just a dab in the middle of my eyelid. Also on the lips!

That sounds nice Ernie. I wore Olivine today as a main lid color and then applied MAC club from the crease to the
transition area---amazing pairing-----the green in club looked like an extension of Olivine, to which brown had been
added. It looked really good.

I love Jade too, although I've not worn it in a while---too many pretty things from which to chose.

@janjirrasan, you look great! I tried the look you suggested from Karen and I liked it. I agree the luminizer blended out the edges of Caroube well. But because I don't need a blending eyeshadow, the luminizer is already packed up for its return to Nordies. Im unsure if I'll exchange for something else from this collection.

That would be a pretty expensive blending E/S wouldn't it Meka?

Thanks Meddy, that sounds really pretty! I love the lighter color in Jade over the darker one.

OMG-- That must have looked amazing! Club is beautiful and that subtle transition would be stunning. I actually have a Face Stockholm color that is in the same range but probably a tad less bright and maybe a hair more green-- I have to try that.

I just used the darker shade as a liner and the lighter shade on the brow bone. One could also do the combo in the crease but that would be too dramatic for my current location. I also have the Shu green palette so that would also provide some interesting options to build around Olivine. It sounds like you are a green girl like me, Ernie, and to have a creamy neutral green without heavy shimmer that unifies the lid is a missing link for me. Wonder if I have to get a backup.

Same for me on Laurier Rose. When I swatched it on my hand, I was in love. But on my eyes, it was scary. I could totally see it as a lip color or even a cheek highlight dab. Wonder if there are any comparable colors intended for that purpose. I did see a Makeup Forever orangey-red-gold iridescent color that was in the range. The SA at Sephora talked me out of it. The tester had oxidized and was different than the new pan so never got it. When it comes to pinks around the eyes, I am better off with cool tones like the TF eye and cheek or even the Lancome la Parisienne is just neutral and cool enough to be wearable.

Thanks so much for that! Clears things up for me. :encore:

Thank you so much! :) I'm sure you have a similar shade to blend Caroube with in your collection. Im still testing mine out with different brushes, I'll probably just end up keeping mine.

I use the Tom Ford concealer brush to blend it, and it is perfect. The Chanel concealer brush works well too. A regular fluff blending brush will not work. You need a flat head with synthetic bristles to get the best blend. I also use the Tom Ford lip brush to get into the corners of my eyes. Either to apply the color or blend it out.

If you love vampy colors, the deep purple in the lip gloss is to die for. Perfect match for the recent 5 pan color with the deep purple and bottle green shadows. I use a lip brush to apply, or you will end up with too much product. I also use the Tom Ford lip glass in pink or clear (frosty white) to add the boost of shine. Not sure it belongs in the summer collection. But I love dark lip colors, and you can control the depth of the color without much effort.

I didn't think i'd love any of the RCS colors but when i tried on Reveuse, I had to have it. Beautiful soft color on me. I really liked the orangey-red one (the name slips my mind) but I'm trying not to shock my wallet with one giant haul. I feel less "guilty" when i acquire collections in small amounts.

LOL so true!!! I jumped on the Tom Ford Band wagon. I might be skipping Mac's Wash and Dry after all.
