Got a sample of the meteorites primer, the one that looks like little pearl balls ( :haha: ) in it. I like it. It feels nice. But I'm not sure it's 73$ nice. I'm torn! I've had my makeup on for almost 8 hours and haven't retouched and I'm not really oily! Something about the price makes me hesitate though.

I waffled over it for a full year. It happens.

I would love to get one of these but I'm very sensitive to something in primers---going through a break out now because of a primer---such a bummer.

I was given a nice sample bottle of this (& the Or gold one) today & I really like it.

Sample bottle! Did you get it from a counter? I'd love to get my hands on a bigger sample to test it out for a week or so. Sephora gave me such a skimpy few pumps. I like to test primers for 1-2 weeks before deciding. I'm picky :haha:

Oh no! I'm sorry!! I hope it's a speedy clear up. I need primers or else I feel like most foundations slide off my face after 4ish hours.

Good to know I'm not alone! I might go in to an actual counter and ask for a sample and talk to them more about it! :)

Forget about emotions and just really think it through. Do you have the money for it? Do you have a shitload of primers that you should or could finish? How does it feel in comarrison to your favorite primer? How much does your favorite primer cost? Does this primer work well with your skin? Do you wear primer a lot? Does this primer works better than other primers do?

It is my favorite primer but I don't use it every day. A bottle can last me for so long that it was worth it. Since it is my only primer I was willing to invest in a luxury product. That can sound insane because I spend so much money on something I hardly use but I do look at it every day. I wouldn't be thinking of buying this if I would finish more than one bottle a year.

Off to bed...but before I do, I have a genuine question... What are these pearls all about? What's their purpose? Why are they so popular? Why do I need them? Side note--> every time I see them, I want cereal.

You can use it as a highlighter, color corrector and setting powder. Start with the permanent ones like the Clair, medium or dore then you'll get hooked! Lol. ;)

It's clearing up already, thanks Lauren. I culprit this time is The Algenist Pore Corrector Anti-Aging Primer. Real bummer too!

That's a good idea!!!

I really dislike bulky packaging (and I'm not a huge fan of single e/s anyway), so these were a non-starter. I like cases to be as minimal as possible to just appropriately house the product without mini-brushes and the like that I will never use.

Still waiting on the Rainbow balls!

Quick question ladies. Is the scent of the Joli Teint Duos the same as the rest of the Terracotta line? I don't mind fragrance, but I cannot stand the smell of this powder. I returned mine already, but am still potentially interested in the other Terracottas. I'm also super interested in the Oro compact from 2013... Same scent as well?

The Terracotta Joli Teint Powder Duos smell like the Météorites. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. The Terracotta bronzers don't seem as strongly scented to me.
The Terracotta Four Seasons bronzer seems much stronger but the scent differs from that of the 'Météorites' scent and some other Guerlain powders. HTHs

Really?? I have tons of Meteorites and the Duo didn't smell anything like them. It was this heavy, slightly spicy, powdery scent.
