After Wash and Dry I might B2M for a lippie from the Matte collection and maybe buy another one... but I don't really see anything I want until Giambattista Valli. Hopefully that orange lipstick will makeup for missing the one from Bao Bao Wan. I think some of their permanent shadows are really great and in line with some of the best shadows out there.MAC? what is that

wicked is my first TF blush and oooooooooooooooooooooh my gawd I didn't expect it to be sooo gorgeous yet pigmented. I used a stippling brush to apply cuz I totally underestimated it with my regular blush brush!! i'm ready to grab Savage cuz I don't see much about it n i'm goin off instinct to have it.

UD is more consistent with their quality. They are definitely one of my favorites for shadows. I'm kind of getting over MAC LE and the chase involved. I know people were willing to pay a ridiculous amount for Toxic Tale in special packaging, but when it came out with RED RED RED... few were interested. It's still available online at MACY'S. I think Wash and Dry will be my last big haul from MAC for a while... unless they come out with something AMAZING. YOU NEED PINK GLOW!!!! I'm sure it will get restocked again. I think it sold out earlier at Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus and got restocked. I'll let you know if I see it, 'cos you NEED IT. Your best bet with the restock is probably Bloomingdale's since they are the last to sell out with TF stuff.

OK, Ok ok ok ok o k... I'm so excited I skipped the last few pages, b/c I wanted to get all my thoughts out before I forgot them. LOL. I went to Nordies Mich Ave Friday b/c it was one of those commutes that would've taken me 2 hours to get home.
I stopped by to check out the CT cream shadows first (LOVE) and then went over to Tom Ford. I kept everything swatched on my hand b /c I wanted to comare CT to TF, to Armani, to MAC and etc.. This NOrdies has jsut about every line (I was too tired to look at the new UD stuff), and I'm so serious about not buying dupes of stuff I already have, I went from line to line comparing colors. .
Ok, so what did I get and think?
Run don't walk and buy this collex.. yeah, I know you all have been saying it. BUT I had to say it too. .
I got the palette. I mean, how could I not. The blush and highlighter alone are worth it. they are so buttery smooth and soft. I also got pink sand. I can't pass up ANYTHING peach for me. Like nothing. At all. I swatched the duos, and if anyone needs any further enabling Naked Bronze is not like CT Mona LIsa or anything else I have . I initally passed on that b/c i always gravitate towards these bronzy browns,and I wanted to try someothing different. But what I noticed when I got home was that, this one is more golden than anything else. I also compared it to MAC's eclair, which is much more cool toned. Now that I see it is different I'll have to get it. I was going to ignore Golden Peach, b/c in the pot it looked like a color that would make me look like I had pink eye. The MUA put it on and I fell in love. The shimmer shadow is like adult shimmer/glitter. Like what MAC's pressed pigment should have been. The combo made my eyes look wet/glossy. BUT, it didn't pull the Peach. It's more Golden, so I'm afraid I have this shade. I got Midnight Sea, b/c of how unique it is to my collex, and ignored Black Oyster.
Now as far as the lipsticks, I loved Paradiso and Sweet Spot, but passed on them b/c I just knew I had something similar. Nope, nothing... So, I'll be buying Ramen, to buy two lipsticks for $100. LOL However, the swatch was almost gone. I drove an hour home still swatched up. LOL I got Rose Soleil and thought it might look like Huggable Rich Camaron, but it has such a nice Golden Bronze tone to it. I don't have a lipstick that will dupe this, but I'm now wondering about that gloss from Temp Rising. I'll have to check and post back...

I so agree with you about Naked Bronze. I also thought I had a dupe... but nope. Everyone should get that color and that glitter is so worth it!
I love my Pink Glow. At first I thought the burgundy shade would be dupable in my stash since I always lean towards that color, but it's beautiful and unique and the blush and highlighter are awesome. That's awesome news! I'm close to a counter---about 15 mins but I still enjoy the convenience of orderingMy wallet is already sobbing at the bit of insider news that I heard today- Tom Ford is expanding the number of Nordstrom locations with full counters. My local Nordie's is getting a full TF counter. TF will go from "within 30 minutes" to "within 15 minutes" for me.
That said, I'll be more than happy to share more details once the info becomes more public- I don't want my source (from another brand, reporting info from an internal meeting) to get in trouble.
online. I will go sometime in the future though to get matched for TF foundation that I've been wanting to try.

Maggie (@mkoparanova) prefers EL for the scent and the cost. She had me curious so I ordered both the Bronze Goddess Eau Fraîche' SkinScent and the 'Bronze Goddess' Shimmering Body Oil Spray. How could I know when she made such a strong case for it AND Nordies had triple points and EL had a GWP-------a full-size foundation brush and samples of Advanced Night Repair Eye Serum (0.14 oz.) and Nutritious Vitality8 Moisture Creme (0.17 oz.).

I use fingers to apply them - I know it's not the best way but I think it's the only way I can get the full potential of the eyeshadow. I do have a few synthetic brushes for this purpose but I rarely use them. For blending, I use MAC 217, Zoeva 227 or the Zoeva 142 concealer brush, if the eyeshadow has already set or it's denser (not TF).

I use TF concealer brush, works well, blends perfectly. A little goes a long way. A VERY SMALL amount should be used.
