No, I don't have news of any right now. But I'm just leaving this here for you to post news of any items getting the Triangle of Doom. (Only six weeks or so late. But better late than never, right?)
That would suck. I only have Uninterrupted, but the formula on that one is top notch.I heard from two differents SAs at two different Mac locations that most if not all of the Pro Longwear eyeshadows are being discontinued, at least here in Canada. I hope it's incorrect, because that formula is amazing.
No.Question: is Mehr l/s discontinued int he US as well?
It's just Germany then. I didn't know it was going to be d/c, looks like it's gone already. There were a bunch of people looking to buy it recently, the person I sold mine to didn't even believe I had bought it on the German site, thinking it wasn't even available here in the first place. It has become a much sought after shade here it seems.
With the exception of maybe the actual colors of individual lipsticks, the PLW ones are pretty useless. They don't wear any differently, if not worse, than other permanent Matte and Satin formulas. In my humble opinion. The face that MAC also hasn't made any effort to display the lipstick colors better in store, to me, is indicative of them really no longer being a focus. They rarely sell because the displayer requires the caps to be on... and who wants to sort through lipsticks with caps that don't match the color inside? The liquid lipsticks customers have been complaining about for years. They've slowly been knocking off both lip cremes and liquid lipsticks from the PLW line. Which hopefully just means they're coming out with something better.I just gave it a check and it seems they are discontinuing all Pro blushes, all ex pro lipsticks (at least... ex pro in USA and part of Europe including Italy), and stuff like that o__O it's insane... lots of AMAZING products.
I know for sure that shadows like Plush, Hot Paprika, etc have been discontinued. There were a handful of them. I only recently left the company but at least in the US there weren't any rumors about killing off the whole line anytime soon.I heard from two differents SAs at two different Mac locations that most if not all of the Pro Longwear eyeshadows are being discontinued, at least here in Canada. I hope it's incorrect, because that formula is amazing.
All three lip shades you mention are now part of the regular line in the US. They're not discontinued. Blush-wise, I don't see Salsa Rose on the website, but Azalea is still there (pan form only).@ IShadow I do love Prolongwear formula with a passion but I was talking about pro shades like Violetta (my absolute holy grail!), Show Orchid, Fusion Pink... the ones in the "pro" stores line. this applies to blushes too... Salsa rose, Azalea.. I can see lots of pro shades. and if you check the "pro products" part of the website... there are only a couple of stuff for lips. so weird!
Lustres have been permanent in the States since long before last year. It was Retro Mattes that were added to the permanent lineup over a year ago.Another example? In USA Lustre lipsticks were added to your permanent line last year. Here in Italy we have them in the permanent line from ages (I'm a MAC fan from 2009 and they were in stores even when I started )
Oh no! That sucks! Do you know why they're getting rid of them?RIP PLW eyeshadows
You said that Lustres were added to the US permanent lineup last year, which is WRONG. They've been part of our lineup for years. Unless you meant to say Italy added them a year ago and the "your" was a typo.@ shellygrrl I can't undestand why you quoted me in order to say the same thing... In Italy it was different and I only stated that.
