I end up using the link on their Twitter. I got UD fireball and beware plus a japonesque eyebrow shave. End up paying $31. They gave me $5 credit for the email of the link being sent late that I missed out on laura geller gilded honey. They were very gracious enough to do that. I end up getting GH on LG website for 25% off.

Did you get the Ulta shenanigans sorted out? I had the same problem in the past and it was due to a coupon code. It allowed me to enter the coupon, took the value off my order, but was causing an issue upon final checkout. Never figured out why, but once I removed the coupon, I was able to place the order.

No I did not. They offered me the same generic response they do (check your billing address, blah, blah, blah). I just ran to see if removing the coupon code would work but as luck would have it, the one item I actually wanted (the Becca set) is now out of stock. The rest of my cart I had only filled with things to get to $50 to get free shipping. I have sent them another email requesting a refund of my gift card. There is absolutely nothing else I want from them!

Wow, that really stinks. The main reason I don't order from Ulta is the shipping cost. I hardly ever want enough to add up to $50 for free shipping.

Right?! Like who still charges for shipping these days? And I bet it's slow azz shipping as well.

It is slow. If I pay for shipping it better not take longer than 3 days. Ulta was 5 days for me and that was standard shipping. They can go to hell with that.

Let me correct that: It's even worse. I paid almost $10 for 2 day shipping and it still took 5 days. Who the hell knows how long that standard, free over $50 shipping would take. This happened to me twice, too and recently. The only Ulta orders I've ever placed were for the RT metal brushes.

In my case, I have to pay shipping no matter how much I order from Ulta (yep, even if it's over $50), because UPS-USPS combo is pretty much the only option, and UPS hate small rural towns (packages go only to the post office, not to my house). And I can't order anything from them that will ship only ground for the same reason, no matter what I do. :idiot: Absolutely sucktastic. Sephora is much less hassle, thankfully.

Well dang, I can just drive to the store within 5 days and pick up what I want and use the extra $10 for more product. That's why Sephora gets my orders every time, that and the fact that they carry more high end brands. If Sephora would change there points system, I would be in makeup heaven.

Preach! If only you could redeem these darn points for cash or at least a percentage off (higher if you cash in more points) I would permanently give Ulta the side eye.
