I love myth lipglass! Excited for these though - they kinda look like rh ABH ones. I stopped wearing glosses but I just recently bought vintage from them and its so amazing - extremely pigmented and creamy and not sticky at all!

Officially skipping the liquid lipsticks. I received disturbing news last night about the lipsticks, so I'll no longer be getting them. Money saved for me! Sadly, MAC dropped the ball on this one. How, i don't know. Especially when they have the current PLW lipsticks.hboy:

Shes one of the senior MAC artists! I've been following her and a bunch of other MAC artists like Romero Jennings so I can be nosy and snoop lol
She's so pretty and seems to be one of the few WOC so I like to see how she uses and recommends products

That sucks, Erine. At least the money is saved. Are they worse than Lime Crime velevetines? Do they give allergic reactions like rash or a burning sensation? Do the ingredients split and alter the formula, finish, smell, and/or color?Officially skipping the liquid lipsticks. The liquid lipsticks were still a skip for me because all of them no matter what brand dry my lips to desert proportions even when I prep them.

I got two Lime Crime Velvetines: Pansy (deep violet purple - because Team Purple) and Cashmere (greige). They feel really oily when i first put them on, which is odd. But each dries down quickly. Cashmere lasted thru 2 meals and a couple large beverages. When i wore Pansy i wasn't watching for how long it lasted, but i know the juicy burger i ate kinda wiped it out. I've had no bad reactions. So i'm looking forward to MAC's liquid matte lip colours - unless there's something unhealthy about them.

Hers are nice and comfy in the lips. At least on mine they are.I guess I'll be picking up more of the ABH liquid lipsticks.
None of the above.
I'd keep looking. Or at least stick with the Limecrime ones.

I agree about the ABH ones, I've heard some complaints but I like them. I really like the LC ones too. I WAS looking forward to these MAC ones but you have me second guessing them nowOfficially skipping the liquid lipsticks. I've always been put off from purchasing directly from LC, for a number of reasons (despite owning Serpentina, which I ordered from eBay). What's the colour payoff like? How long is the wear time on them?

MAC's are missing the one thing all the others have in common, based on what my friend experienced the other day. So unless they tweek these before the anticipated fall launch, I'm skipping.
On me, LC has full colour payoff and wear 8+ hours, depending on what you eat of course. I love them. I don't order them directly from LC tho. I order them from a different retailer.

Do they not dry down or something? This is disappointing. I haven't tried liquid lipsticks before and was hoping Mac would be the first but based on what you've said I guess I'll be trying LA Splash and LC first.
