MAC Wash And Dry Collection (May 14 / May 21, 2015)

Got my goodies today.


LOVE Freshen Up. Totally a blush, not a highlight. But boy is it gorgeous! And pigmented. Awesome for my NC20 skin. Maybe for darker skins it would work as a highlight better? Dunno, but I am very happy.

Got both blushes and they are both gorgeous on my lighter skin. Both show up fine.

I got all the lippies but the orange one. The 2 pale ones are rediculously pale but they look ok on me; like the 2 Cinderella lippies. I may depot them and put a nicer color in there for me because the packaging rocks.

Hipness is nice but it does look like Peaches & Cream in the pan. I'll see when I try it! Love the packaging though!

Can you see her under my magnolia tree? I couldn't get to my camera phone fast enough and missed the baby. It still had spots and looked like Bambi!!!

That reminds me of Christmas time when my sister took my daughter outside with some crackers. About 4-5 deer came out and my daughter kept calling them reindeer. Haha. I might still have the video on my phone, I'll upload it on YouTube and put it in my signature when I get a chance.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. All of mine have been rescued and the only one who grew past the kitten stage was Oliver, but he was a Bengal cat so he was ginormous. Lucy was my white cat, I got her when I was single and had a connection with her right off the bat. Matilda is the cat we have now and we got her right before I had my daughter, she was found in a dumpster and had to be nursed with baby formula. Haha. Now her and my daughter are best friends. They really aren't our pets, they're family.

Orange does but I'm wondering if I like it because of how it looks on her or if I like the actual color! I like an orange lipstick but I don't need many since I mainly only wear them in the summer. I have Milani Sweet Nectar that's apparently similar... even have MAC Proenza Schouler Mangrove and other orange lipsticks and glosses. Yes! In my other post I said how when I wiped TD off there was a nice peachy color on the tissue but it didn't look that way on my lips. I had primer under, I always do. I have to try a different one maybe. I have to experiment. CTH is the one lustre I own that's different.

I started playing around with different pencils and I forgot I had Isola Bella pencil from NARS. I tried it and it pairs up really nice with TD. I want to try CDN in store Thursday because I really love the lipstick packaging. I'm really hoping Hipness isn't like P&C since I already have it and hardly use it, although I like it. I just always forget about it.

I just checked my order and it updated to Tuesday. I was hoping I could play around with it this weekend . . . Oh well. I'm going to go to a counter and check everything out. I probably won't get CDN if it's as pale as TD. Once I used the NARS pencil with it though, that peach color showed up on my lips.

I think any pale/light color can work with the right lip pencil. I didn't buy it because the time I swatched it, I had just gotten Siss and really didn't need another pale nude. Please share a picture of you wearing CDN. TD come yesterday but I was too exhausted to try it on. Now I'm just waiting for Freshen Up to arrive.

After the MAC is Beauty collection and the massive amount of Lustres in that collection TD could've been in another finish. I love Lustres largely because of the amount of nudes in that finish but it would've been nice if TD was a satin. After a few days of Wash & Dry being on Nordies the only lipstick (as of yesterday) that sold out was a permanent lipstick it really screams that this summer collection wasn't that interesting, different etc.

Just popping in to say Hipness is GORGEOUSSSSSSS! Not like Peaches & Cream at all as ppl have said. It's more pigmented at first swipe. Deeper color.

I totally agree, if TD was satin that would be fab. Wearing it now. Looks peachy but I need to capture it in a pic.
