MAC Wash And Dry Collection (May 14 / May 21, 2015)

We got the same stuff except I threw in CDN. But Morange, Refined Golden and Girl on Board are huge possibilities.

I swatched CDN but it I felt like i had to doctor it too much so I passed. Refined Golden is one I may reconsider but I have to be good for the matte collection. I will definitely be going HAM on that collection.

omg I am SO ANNOYED because I ordered from mac the morning this collection came out, but I ordered a nail polish so my order had to ship ground... Hopefully my things come before tomorrow night because I am going out of town and I am anxious to have them!

By the way, has anyone else been having problems with ebates? I made two nordstrom orders during the 16% sale and only one order has shown up as pending. Was this because my other order I had shipped to a different person?

I'm sure I'll be ordering some other stuff, non Sephora or dept store, and that will hold me over for a while. I also just got all of the big presents for my daughters 3rd birthday so now I just a few small things and food and candy. Then I am done shopping for a while!

It's Seducing Sound, right? See at the cco I paid $11.75 for it. A cco is a discount cosmetics outlet. It's not a stupid question. They're usually around designer outlets. So MAC would be an Estée Lauder one with all their brands. At least that's how the one near my job is. They would have a couple current things but for the most part it may be disco'd products, items from certain collections that didn't move as fast. Overstock, etc

Yup, Seducing Sound. For some reason it reminds me a little of a darker NARS Corsica, though they're really not alike. As for a CCO, I've never heard of one around here. I bet the nearest one to me is in Jacksonville (1 1/2 hour away.) It sounds great too. . I would love more from the AA collection.

I'm not sure what to do with Tumble Dry. It's really yellowish on me. First time I tried it was after I tried and rubbed off CdN, so my lips were pinker. On my natural, anemic white lip color it pulls super yellow. Not really a good look.

Sorry for this silly question but is GOLDEN from the AA collection the same exact bronzer as Refined Golden from this collection? They don't look exactly the same to me but then again I have not used RG much yet.

no golden is more "glittery" and not as smooth as refined golden.

I'm debating whether or not I should go in store today but the truth is nothing in this collection is standing out to me. I like the look of FU but I know it's Bc of the packaging and I'm trying to stop just getting things Bc of that and the hype. You ladies all look great in your goodies by the way!

The Matte is perm so you can spread it out!

Great swatches!  Oh I would be so mad that if launched today if I hadn't ordered online.  I'm really liking the darker liners but the technakohl is not my favorite formula. I think I already have Colour Matters.   Oh the darker sculpting bronzer works on you?  I may have to check that out. I made 2 nordstrom orders for the 16% and they both showed up.

Granted I only swatched Golden Rinse on my hand, but it can be used as an all-over I'm thinking. It's maybe a touch lighter than Refined Golden and not glittery (not that RG is over-glittery), and it's so soft and smooth, silky! The formula is more subtle on the face. I'm guessing on the color name since I didn't check, I was in a rush so I just grabbed the darker one to swatch. [COLOR=FF00AA][COLOR=FF00AA]EDIT: if the darker one is Delicates, that's what works on me.[/COLOR][/COLOR]

I really can't say that I love Tumble Dry by itself because after a few swipes, it looked like nothing on my lips. I expected that I'd get some color payoff if I swiped enough times, so the color builds up but nothing. As a last resort, I threw on Reel Sexy over whatever amount of TD I had on my lips and I really liked the result. It was a much softer, more sheer Reel Sexy. I liked this combo because sometimes Reel Sexy has a tendency to look a bit chalky on me and TD somehow allowed Reel Sexy to somewhat blend into my natural lip color better. Anyways, while I'm not thrilled about Tumble Dry, I'm still happy I purchased it.

So Toronto girls and others, you may want to call up your Mac, my store only had about 3 Hipness blushes left according to the MUA which will be so disappointing to people going tomorrow

They're fab!

They are super smooth, the colour is buildable without looking cakey and they have a really nice soft, natural finish.

Golden Rinse is more of a blush for me whereas Delicates is more like a proper bronzer. Love 'em both!

Good to know. I love the Studio Sculpt Defining Powder so I had a feeling these would be just as good. I'll have to try them in store.
