MAC Wash And Dry Collection (May 14 / May 21, 2015)

So not only did it take them THREE EFFIN Days to process my order, they cancelled the brush and FU. ..  FU Nordies!  I could have gone to the store! I placed this order MOnday, why are you telling me today????????!!!!!!!!!!!

I just tried on FU & I LOVE it on. Its super pretty. I'm not that fond of the overspray, but I'm really happy I got it.

Me too, I don't think I've ever purchased this much from one collection and I'm still thinking about Delicates.

I've never purchased this many items at one time! LOL. Even at the Sephora Rouge sales I try to be practical. And I think that I often end up spending more on single items. Though I like the MAC foundation I've tried, I love my Guerlain Lingerie de Peau, Les Voilettes and Meteorites. They just make my skin look so much better than it is in reality. I just wish they were about half the price. That's why I like MAC. I feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck! But now that I'm thinking about it, I did purchase most of Cinderella. However, I still don't think it was as much as what I've purchased from W&D. And I still want the 126, a back up of FU, and maybe Hot/Cold. But I need to be practical for the next month, and I could really use a couple of new lipliners (probably Subculture and Staunchly Stylish) and I need a new waterproof Brow Set for Summer. I wish they had put those in the W&D packaging too! If I buy anything else from W&D it will be the 126, but only if it's available after the 1st. I wish I'd find another forgotten gift card! And I'll try not to be an enabler so I won't say, "just go for it before Delicates sells out!"

I bought Summer Opal based on the reviews. I just bought Freshen Up and wanted to know if its worth keeping it. The reviews are good but I don't know if they both do the same thing? I also bought golden rinse but I use Guerlain terra-cotta spray (01) already as my foundation. Am I supposed to use a bronzer over a bronzer? Can I use the powder over a bronzer? Any help or advice you can give is greatly appreciated. I am still trying to figure this out since I don't wear powder/blush/highlight. TIA!

Summer Opal and FU are totally different in my opinion. Both are worth having. Im glad I have them. I wore them both today. FU as a blush and SO on the high points of my face. I loved yhe way they work together.

So I finally tried my products - Golden Rinse, FU & CW. loving everything, especially golden rinse. I found it applied better w a dense brush and had no problem with pigmentation. It looks so natural on!! Everyone needs it haha

Well I think I'm done with this collection (though if it's still available in a week or so I might pick up the 126 brush.) I know, I can't help it; it's a problem! I got a lot more from W&D than originally planned. I even went into my beauty budget for next month. Bad! Final haul (I hope): Freshen Up Refined Golden Hipness Creme d'Nude Tumble Dry Steam Heat Domestic Diva Girl on Board 125 Brush I feel like I'm missing something....

Finally got around to wearing Freshen Up today. It's really hard to get a good photo of the color, but it's a nice tangerine on me. Even with the overspray gone I feel like there's a bit of a sheen to the powder too, it's not completely matte it's more of a satin-y finish. I paired it with Perfect Topping for highlight

Thanks. I have to wait at least a week to purchase though; I seriously went over my May beauty budget bc of this collection! LOL

I like it too!! I mostly used the first two shades swirled together as a blush!! It's a lovely peachy tangerine blush that way!! And the lowest shade like a concealer setting powder LOL :haha:

Thanks Hun! I appreciate it. I asked in an earlier post about the M&D brushes bc I'm trying to figure out which to buy. Did you get them? I'm leaning toward 125 bc I do not think there is that 125 style in the permanent brush collection? But I think the 126, as a fluffier brush would be of more use to me. I really want both but I just cannot swing it right now.

That really sucks! I would definitely call CS and complain. Nordstrom seems to be really big on quality customer service. I know some of the main MAC stores are having events tomorrow and are supposed to have large quantities. I think you can find the locations on the MAC website. I called around last year for items from AA and they mailed them to me. Maybe Nordstrom CS can locate the items you want from store locations and have them sent to you. Good luck! I really feel bad for you.

My head has been killing me today, luckily my new Dr is putting me on a different medication and gave me pain meds to hold me over until the regular stuff has a chance to build up in my body. I suffer from regular migraines and nerve cluster headaches (which for me are a thousand times worse) and it took a long time to figure out the right combo of medications to treat each type. If you want to trade info about it, feel free to PM. I'm always interested in other people's tricks to get through the horrible headaches. I caved this morning and purchased the 125 and Hipness. ️ I was concerned that they were both selling out everywhere. The 126 is still availabile, and hoping it will still be in around the 1st when I can afford to pick it up! I really went overboard on this collection. Feel better and enjoy playing with your items!

Started playing around with some of my haul. I may exchange my 126 brush. The white hairs seem a bit rough to me. The natural hairs are very soft though. I may try to exchange before I try it out. It looks so pretty. I wish it was all natural hair though. Tumble dry. I like the color but think I need a lip pencil. After trying a few, I think I like it plain with a dab of Laundry list blended in. I think I read about that combo here. Morange, oh I've never tried it before. It looks quite pretty but I'm wondering if its the same lipstick this SA at Nordies has on all the time. I keep wanting to ask her what lipstick she is wearing but she doesn't actually work in cosmetics. I just see her across the floor sometimes. The only thing is I thought she was wearing a matte lipstick so . . .

BTW I keep seeing pics of people wearing blue shadow with the orange lipstick. It makes me think I missed a blue shadow with this collection. It looks nice together.

Thanks, but my headaches are from a brain aneurysm. I had surgery to keep it from causing any more damage, but my headaches never went away. All day, every day since March 26th. The only thing that helped me was Morphine and Dilauded. Haha. Hopefully this new prescription will help me until I fully recover. Anyway, I started playing with my 125 tonight and you will not be sorry you ordered it! I got specifically for Golden Rinse and it is perfect! I questioned myself and had an inner battle over it, but I'm so glad I got it. It's definitely going to be a staple now.

Omg which brush? The 125 is still listed as in stock on Nordstrom. I ordered one from Bloomingdales but I was going to order from nordies until I saw Bloomingdales had 10% cash back.
