Hm... Is say that, given the fairness of her skin, that colour payoff seem kind of weak.
The write up indicates they're supposed to be sheer----and sheer it was, but that's not a bad thing for people who
prefer just a wash of color:

"Achieve flawless, sculpted eye looks and color graduation with these five semi-tones, while the designer textures
allow for infinite layering with a sheer finish".

I feel the same way about these palettes and everything else that has been released recently. I'm really getting bored with their new products. Everything just looks so mediocre. I haven't seen anything new or unique in a long time.

I was mildly interested in Khaki Design but that interest has completely waned now :/

It reminds me of Mr. Ford's Sahara something with the greens. Again, to me not one grouping has any zing. But for newbies, it might be a good way to have some basic staples. I am so wanting the one for Fall with the purple and bottle green. Yes, it is like the 5 pan released by Chanel, but I still so NEED it!!!! The blue one for Fall, I THINK it is a pass. Based on the Chanel Blue Notes quad. Rarely wear blue eyeshadow.

That would be Sahara Haze. Chanel did a similar one, Mystère. I thought you were talking about the Chanel quint that I have not yet used

I can't commit to
passing at this point. When I do I just end up eating my words!!!

You have to make your product stand out. These aren't doing that for me.

I liked Contraste Horizon and Ambre Nuit more than these. Sahara Haze is nice; it reminds me of Gucci Serpentine Envy

HA! "but it was powdery and looked a little dry on the skin"...................:amused: EVERYTHING is dry & powdery to her :eek:hboy: :nope:
I agree Élégant. She is wrong ! As you said everything is powdery or even chalky according to her. Those powders are beautiful and so easy to build up, not powdery at all quite the opposite !

I have montaigne, ambre nuit and cuir cannage on my wishlist. Do I need more NEUTRAL palettes?
