MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

I already have an Excel spreadsheet for my MAC makeup.

I just need to create some for other brands.

Me toooo lol I have all my makeup I own in my phone in notes. I should probably create a backup on an excel sheet though

I don't even have the time to do them! Ugggh! I'll have to make an effort. I need to get on it.

I use Access to make a database and add swatches on there. Also done one for my pigments and lip glosses... They all need updating... That's my task this weekend, seeing that I'm not going anywhere

I have one for MAC collections with one tab for each new collection. Each tab has a color story. I highlight what I plan to get and put a price next to it, so I can get a total $ amount of my haul. It acts as my wishlist.

Then I have one as an inventory. There's a tab for each product type (lipsticks, glosses, shadows, blushes, etc.). Each tab has a column for shade name, formula, collection, perm or LE, color family, price, date of purchase, etc. This helps me when trying to figure out which products I need to use up or maybe realize I don't need another pink or red (but I just can't seem to stop buying them).

I've started to put my lists on my phone, since the colour story for MIB was released. It's a lot more easier than remembering from the top of my head what I want from a collection

I grabbed those three as well, I'll head in-store to grab the ones I have on hold and swatch the rest. I really wanted to buy Persistence, but I have Pander Me (Plus a BU) and that shade is pure love.

I've got 3 weeks of updating that needs to be done, plus doing the swatch photos on top (which is fun - I love walking around the house wearing Blitzed and Six6Six together ️). I even plan ahead and add other lipsticks, glosses etc on there

Thursday I will be in front of my local store for AV and DfD and considering Stone. They let me B2M before at launch so I will be seeing if they let me do that again.

I have SK and never used it either lol. It looks horrible on me. Like it makes me look like I died 3 weeks ago lol

I like Sushi Kiss but I think the fact that it's a Satin is the problem, I think that's such a weird finish for that lipstick shade (I love satins just not for that color) I have to wear a gloss with it, it helps a lot! Makes it looks much more fresh rather than chalky or crazy lol I feel like it should've been a Cremesheen or something

You put swatches too?! Wow! I think my issue is seeing all my makeup listed in b&w...makes it real and not like I'm just having fun buying stuff that doesn't cost much :lol: I have shopping lists on my phone. I had to do that for Wet n Wild lipsticks since I pretty much bought them all and needed to keep track. It will be hard starting yearsssss in but I'll start.

Yep, I add either the swatches or pics of the lipsticks itself on there. It helps loads majority of the time, shame I can update it on my phone cos Microsoft haven't come up with Access for iPhone or iPad

Since this is permanent I'm not jumping on board yet. Although I started filling up a cart and told myself to hold it haha.

Stone, Whirl, D for Danger, and Flat Out Fabulous. I've been playing with the idea of getting FOF forever and finally just said do it. I started to get MLM but I kept trying to picture myself in it and wasn't crazy about the thought.
