The Clair compact arrived today. A light hand or disco balls on my face. The scent is lovely. Re-did my makeup later, used a different brush, results much better.

are there any do's and dont's to using these balls? i feel i need to be armored wit as much info possible before i order my first bowl of the luscious balls and i wanna be equipped with the right tools aka brushes to glide these all mighty balls against my face!! MUST....EMBRACE...THE BALLS

For some reason, the cheapo Ecotools powder brush does a great job with mine. It's dense enough but not too dense that I look like a sparklebomb.

Yes! I feel the same way! !

I tried the Chanel retraceable brush. Huge mistake, then I used the Chanel with the blunt cut and white tip foundation brush, much better. Or a fan brush. Unless you want disco balls on your face. Tried a TF blush and cream foundation brush, too much product picked up.

I use my Hakuhodo J110 blush brush. It does the job for me.

Quite a bit of loose powder - the aqua balls seem to have come off worst, the puff (which is actually pink!) looks green:



I haven't tried them on my face yet, but I dabbed a little from the puff on the back of my hand and buffed - give a beautiful subtle sheen. I think I'm going to like these much more than my Perles du Dragon.
