MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

I own Maison and I really hope Stone isn't that close. I just pulled Maison out tonight and wore it with Spite lip glass. It looked cute but it's not a shade I would rock that often.....

I don't have Maison and just ordered Butter this week but I remember layering them in a store and getting a dupe of Nude a year or so ago. Let me find my pin:

L-R: Maison, Nude, Butter Bottom: Butter with Maison on top Looking at these I think I prefer Maison over Butter, lol. Wish I looked back at my own swatch before ordering :lol: I think Stone will look closer to Maison though. It seems dark and different from the pencil...

My lippies finally came an hour ago! I got four so far - definitely heading in store to swatch a few more. Here are pics I am going to post on my makeup instagram. I use Mac's Studio Fix in C4 for skin reference. RiRiBoy and MLM are so close - same with D for Danger and Heaux.

After seeing these no longer worried about Whirl, it's gorgeous!!

And I love MLM and DFD even more!! So gorgeous!

Need to hurry up and release them in the UK haha <3

Excellent swatches! Yes RRB and MLM are similar but I'm liking the slight sheen (?) of MLM in your swatch. Not sure how to describe it but it looks a touch more vibrant. Stone is a lot darker than I hoped...looks like my exact skin tone on you. I guess I'll see on Tuesday when I get them both! Thanks girly!

i have to 2nd that and agree!!! the best deal is that jar combo and i'd buy it again. i got the Bite set from the holiday which came wit a full size exfoliator and i can use either one of em but prefer to use em both at night.  that elf exfoliator comes through in the clutch! i use it before applying makeup so it can marinate n be ready when i toss on my lipstick in the end!!

Thanks and no prob! I do agree - MLM has a slight sheen - definitely way more moisturizing than RRB lol. I paired it with Heroine lip liner and it was

. I used to pair RRB with Fashion Boost - gonna have to try MLM with that. Stone looks like a grayer SIS to me - I need to swatch them side by side. You will love MLM!

There's a girl on YT called wynter4beauty who has 6 shades and does hand and lip swatches and she compares them to other lipsticks she owns in the shade range. She has Naturally Transformed, Runway hit , whirl, Stone, Tropic Tonic and Men Love Mystery..

I took Whirl out of my cart after seeing swatches on here.. but Whirl looks really pretty on her.

lol. Totally going in store to check out Persistence, Antique Velvet and Tropic Tonic - taking my empties with me so I can B2M if I end up liking any of them lol.

what alcohol can i use for clean my lippies? i remember i made a screenshots with the answer but i cant find it

I'm not Erine, but one can use 70% alcohol, the one I got is Isopropanol. I've once read that anything with less alcohol content than 70% won't properly work, but I cannot explain why, cause I was such a loser at chemistry class, lol.

Thanks. Great vid. I want Naturally Transformed now! Looks great on her. I'm a little worried about Stone based on how it looks on her (great, but I'm darker). I can make it work I'm sure. MLM looks fab. Heck they all look good on her!

It is, I got it before the lipstick was perm so I was using it as a lipstick for a bit, ha! So glad these are perm! I'm going swatch crazy on Thurs!
