MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

*~*I got my order yesterday, and ended up wearing Whirl l/l & l/s out to dinner last night! I love it!! I do notice that it's not as matte as some of my other lipsticks (such as Honeylove), and it had almost a slight sheen to it...which I actually like. Has anyone else noticed this?*~*

How many people are going to skip the cremesheen version of Heaux if Mac has already released the matte version of it and simply renamed it D for Danger?

I don't generally like cremesheens but it all depends how it swatches because Heaux is such a stunning shade

SG was really pretty and different from Please Me and Pink Plaid. My MA suggested Soar lipliner to go with.

My lippies finally came an hour ago! I got four so far - definitely heading in store to swatch a few more. Here are pics I am going to post on my makeup instagram. I use Mac's Studio Fix in C4 for skin reference. RiRiBoy and MLM are so close - same with D for Danger and Heaux.

Thanks for the swatches. I'm a little disappointed Whirl looks so brown. Wanted a more rosey mauve shade. Not sure why I thought that was the color it was suppose to be. Still looks pretty tho.

From my experience and what I've seen it's definitely a mauve-toned brown, and how much the mauve stands out I think is mainly dependant on your skintone..

L-R: Matte Royal, Whirl, and Stone. I honestly wonder if Persistence and Whirl had the labels switched LOL. **Edit** The stain to the right of "Matte Royal" is from "Gunner," lol. Forgot to mention that! ...And I'm NC15/20.
