I'll buy it if I like the product but in my opinion they should have gone with someone else. So many other people who have transitioned are better candidates. In my eyes Caitlyn is still Bruce and for a while probably will be and to be honest I use to think Bruce was the least money and fame hungry of the family but now he's just like them. I have nothing against Bruce or him transitioning I'm glad he will finally be able to live the life he's wanted but why do you have to capitalize off of it I don't wanna see Caitlyn on runways magazine covers or makeup campaigns at least not now I wanna see Caitlyn walking out of the grocery store or target. Just my thoughts my vote would have been for Laverne cox and Caitlyn maybe in a couple of years. I get where Mac is going with this but i don't understand why Caitlyn would do this now not.

She will be who she wants to be my opinion won't matter to anyone but myself she has no idea who I am in just saying in my eyes it happened over night because I've been living under a rock and had no idea she was transitioning so quickly even though in her eyes she's always been a women. I think Caitlyn for VG is a strategic move from Mac... Good or bad? Only time will tell. Her transition isn't only a part of U.S. trending news, I have family living in Mexico who don't speak a word of English and they know who she is thanks to celebrity shows and the actual regular news program (same with my Peruvian bf's family). I'm not a fan of that family or Caitlyn although I don't mind her. I would've preferred Laverne Cox but to be honest I'll take Caitlyn over Miley any day of the week. I detest that woman so much that I haven't been able to bring myself around long enough to even check out her VG lippie.

They are just riding on the coat tails of all this hype. VG is something I'm sure is usually planned months and months in advance. For them to just randomly makes the decision now just seems like publicitymongering.

Caitlyn for VG...no. I'm anti anything that has to do with that ridiculous family. If they wanted to choose a trans woman there are others with inspiring and brave stories who are deserving of a lipstick in their honor. This is just capitalizing on hype imo.

I am pro Caitlyn for VG. To me, she is not just a transgender. There are so much transgenders out there. The thing that makes Caitlyn stand out is the fact that she was a sportsman. There are so many man in sports that are afraid to be who they are just because of the masculine image of sports. Even Dennis Rodman was making a joke out of it, just to beat them to the punch.

I don't follow Kardashians and I see Caitlyn as a person and not just as a part of the K-clan. Being a trans is hard enough, things will only get worse if you are a public figure. And she does this because this is who she wants to be. This is something personal and not just to generate more fame. And even if mac just hopping on the bandwagon with this, they've got my vote.

Agreed! Homophobia / transphobia is a huge problem in the sports world. Where I live, I've especially noticed this concerning soccer players. They're under pressure to represent themselves as "manly", some are told to have fake girlfriends when they're gay...some people make fun of female soccer players for being neither feminine enough nor playing "real" soccer (because obviously, soccer seems to be "only for guys" - nooo!), etc. I could rant about this topic for ages. Why cannot people appreciate their athletic achievements regardless of who they love and who they want to be? I'm going off topic, but just wanted to say that the point you're making is so important imo.

I know some guys with fake girlfriends too. You now hear guys mutter that hey know why Bruce became Caitlyn when he was already retired. Just going to the showers after sport would make things so much more complicated. Not only the fear of being rejected but for some guys it is also something that they don't want to bother the team with. For guy cheerleaders they expect you to be gay, for any other sport they just expect you to be anything other then gay.

I also think that Caitlyn is a great rolemodel for people her age. Back in the days you were born as a boy, felt like a girl and ignored it. It was not so long ago that it was more okay to be transgender. Nowdays it is quite normal for some people. Kids could tell there parents that they are in the wrong body. If you are Caitlyn's age, you are brought up with the idea that a guy in a skirt is no way to behave. Nowdays we have transgender models walking the catwalk and a transsexual winning the Eurovision songfestival. We are brought up with the idea that it is okay to be who you are, no matter what shape or form that will be.

I respect Bruce Jenner because he became famous for winning an Olympic Gold medal (unlike Kim K who became famous because of her sex tape). Caitlyn Jenner is great for VG and I'm glad MAC didn't go with Kylie lol!

Sorry, I should have clarified the names have nothing to do with the swatch picture. I don't know which shades are in the picture / if those are the Vamplify ones at all (I'm pretty sure they are though). I just found them doing a Google search.
