I mean what makes them different from the other glosses in Mac's lineup?
No idea. They look more pigmented and the MUA states these aren't sticky.

Since the talk of Caitlyn Jenner possibly being Viva Glam 2016, I gotta say I can't stand the kardashians, nor Caitlyn, personally. I respect Caitlyn for becoming who she really wants to be. Just can't stand that family in general. And I'm definitely one of those people no matter how good a product is if I don't genuinely like whoever they have as the person for it I just can't get myself to by it, like the rihanna collections
