MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

I have been on & off all day. I like the brightness of it but not sure in general if I like the site or not. I had a hard time finding reviews

Its like someone rearranging the furniture!

Where is everything lol! Seems weird right now

I'm so glad they are basically the same (formula aside) since I missed out on Heaux, I always prefer a retro matte but at least matte is better than cremesheen. i wanted a heaux type of colour but not in anything that isnt some form of matte




Two of the lipsticks I ordered are retro mattes, which I have never had before, can you tell me what you like about them? I'm kind of nervous they won't work well for me.

I tried and failed! A lipstick should not take this much work to make it look decent. I bought Naturally Tranformed and paired it with several lip pencils including Mac chestnut and it looks weird. I'm NC44-45 for reference.  It's going back .... too much work!

Try Cork instead n apply more pencil than lipstick and blend well and if all fails gloss it over! Don't be so easily defeated, u got this

Retro mattes have a soft velvety appearance on the lips so make sure u exfoliate and moisturize well before applying because if not, lip flakes will be put on front street lol

Honestly they just look better on me than creamier formulas. They are pretty dry (so if you're sensitive to that you might have issues) but it doesn't bother me. They last all day and look great. Flat Out Fabulous and All Fired Up are my favourite lipsticks EVER

I went into MAC again to try Tropic Tonic, it still looked bad but I bought Lady Danger which I wanted for a while but didn't look good on me before. I also tried my first pro longwear lip pencil and I love it! It does not move! I want them all lol

Awww sorry it didn't work out for u... Lady D is absolutely stunning but did u try Dangerous??? It's a retro matte and breathtakingly beautiful

Atta girl! They r different enough to justify having both since Dangerous is a few shades darker and a different finish

I think you would love Como liquid lipstick by Stila way better than MLM trust. I bought it a few days back and was rocking it and got so many questions and compliments. That is one reason why I am sending mine back. This color is cool but nothing special makes it stand out like RiRi Boy in my option. I can buy it later if I get bored in the future. Right now it will sit untouched for way to long.

I think you would love Como liquid lipstick by Stila way better than MLM trust. I bought it a few days back and was rocking it and got so many questions and compliments. That is one reason why I am sending mine back. This color is cool but nothing special makes it stand out like RiRi Boy in my option. I can buy it later if I get bored in the future. Right now it will sit untouched for way to long.

I've been totally eyeing Como. I picked up Amalfi and now I just want to get Como and Venezia

These are my all time favorites & converted me from nudes to brights last spring! These are amazing colors!

Like Pink said, exfoliate and moisturizer. Use a lip primer too.
